Great Value Stay

Great location, central location for shops and restaurants. I picked the hotel for a overnight stay for a birthday party. Room was basic but comfortable as I was in a king room. Great big mirror to get ready in front of! Note that this is not a place you would book for the views as between office buildings however if your on a holiday your not there to stay in the room! Parking is great, fully fenced in and if you have a big car it’s great. Staff greeted me with smiles and I felt welcomed.

I had several problems with the room; TV issues, the safe wouldn't open, and a light flashed on my phone. The staff were apologetic and they were able to fix the TV issues. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was great. Overall, despite the problems, it wasn't too bad.

All we needed was there, but for the price we paid, it was nothing special. Only instant coffee and black tea in the bedroom - we would have expected at least a choice of green tea and coffee bags, if not a coffee maker. The pool was small, but ok for cooling off and doing a few strokes. We were on the ground floor (rooms 107 and 109), away from the road, so we were not at all inconvenienced by the noise others have complained of. No food is served but there are places nearby. We didn't try the gym.

Central to most attractions in Darwin City. Rooms are clean and functional. Only let down is the front entrance with rubbish lying around that you walk through to get inside hotel. It was there when we arrived and still there when we left the next morning. A quick sweep morning and evening would do wonders to improving first impressions.

The room was bombarded with thumping bass from the nightclub opposite until 4 am.
I don’t understand why no other reviews include this information .
The blinds, blackout blinds and outdoor rollershutters did not block it out.
Incredibly old tv with no streaming ability.
Otherwise good location.
