We missed showercream and schampoo. The only elevator, said to be one of the oldest in town…, was very slow. We lived on top floor and used the stairs instead.
Breakfast was good but no orangejuice due to environmental reasons said the staff…

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to both the train station and to the museum Kunsten which was the reason of my going to Aalborg. The night staff was So accomodating when I arrived at 10 pm after a rather delayed train ride from Copenhagen. I needed something real to eat and the night staff directed to a grocery store nearby where I went to get a salad and something to drink - while I was away, the very nice guy had brought my luggage to my room on the 5th floor bc he could tell I was TIRED - thank you!

Nearby everything with good parking. Overall ok hotel and worth the cheap price. Air condition and a fridge st the room should be standard on all hotels, but unfortunatly not on this hotel.

A bad experience
We are talking about a four-star hotel, which is so lacking in better management.
Communication and information are poor – including around the parking spaces. You pay for parking, but if you are driving from the hotel and the parking lot is occupied when you return, it is your own problem. This also applies even if you have already paid for the parking space.
You will find no clear information about this and the staff will not take responsibility for the problem.
In addition, I noticed that the staff could not follow during breakfast because there were too many guests in relation to the amount of food.
My family and I arrived at 8.50. It was neither too late nor too early, but almost all the things I normally eat for breakfast were already gone because of the many guests.
You really need to have the patience with you. Otherwise the morning starts sour.
When we returned to the hotel around 6:00 p.m., we assumed that our room had been cleaned, the bed had been cleaned, and the classical tasks had been done, as one should expect from a four-star hotel.
But no. Unfortunately, this was not done.
And before I forget it: Don't look forward to watching TV. Only DR1 worked, while all the other TV channels did not work.
We asked in the reception if they could help us. Unfortunately they could not, but we were told that it might work again in the course of next week.

As the end of our wonderful holiday in Aalborg we were awakened in the morning by craftsmen. Outside the building there was a still, so it felt almost like we were staying on a construction site.
You don't need a alarm clock.
I never thought before that I was so excited to come home to our house in Kolding.
This hotel is far from four stars.
I won't blame the employees. It is management that fails here.

Noisy work already at 0706 in the morning
The hotel is under external restoration. We had a stay and they worked late in the afternoon, we can live with that.
However, the work began at 0706 the following day.
That's not acceptable, we had corner room right behind pigging on the wall.
The reception asked us to send a complaint to the manager and it is not answered after 12 days even after several purrings.
