Nice hotel, also for a longer visit to Aalborg.

Simply great hotel located on the pier in Aalborg, from which you can also easily explore the city. Nice rooms, unfortunately always a bit warm, and it is hard to get the heat out. Really great, very individually equipped breakfast, nice bar with lovely drinks. Unfortunately, the smokers who stand or sit in front of or at the hotel are a nuisance when you have the windows open; otherwise, we would have given five stars.

Unfortunately, our room was very hot during our stay. Although a fan was provided, it did little to cool the room down. We couldn’t keep the window open because of the heavy traffic noise just outside, which made it difficult to sleep. We asked if it was possible to change rooms, but unfortunately, no other rooms were available.
We also had our bikes parked outside, and during the night someone stole the toolboxes mounted on them. This was not the hotel’s fault, but it did make us feel that the surrounding area was not particularly secure.

Partly good stay

Sleep badly in bed. Had back pain after the stay. Breakfast was very delicious. There could have been more drinks on the menu that you knew more about. It was kind of a fuser. Otherwise a good area the hotel is located with. Close to shopping center and pedestrian street.

Like sleeping in a sauna.

Like sleeping in a sauna. No AC in an (expensive) 4 star hotel!
Zero effort from the hotel staff to offer us another room or any type of compensation.

First of, they do not have AC in the room. Unbearable, just a small table fan, a loud one at that.
Second, need to get better at responding to messages. Tried several times without reply.
Other than that the hotel is okey, very nice and welcoming staff.
Nice breakfast.
