This was an absolutely lovely place to stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, peaceful and stylish. The breakfast was good, the owners and staff were very friendly, professional and attentive. The location is perfect and I would love to stay again.

Very charming hotel

Very neat room, very charming hotel, friendly staff, you can always find cool water in the fridge, also tea or coffee. Definitely recommended also in the evening nice bars and coziness between the Parisian streets.

Quiet retreat in great location

My 18 year old daughter and I had a great three night stay here. It’s nothing fancy, it’s small, clean, air conditioned (great in the heatwave we had) comfortable and has a good shower. There is no view as the window looks into an unattractive interior part of building so don’t expect to look out on a nice Paris street, you could be anywhere. But it was so quiet despite the noise in the area which was perfect for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was very nice despite being in a windowless room and the staff were friendly and helpful.

A perfect base

Le 1er Etage is a small, unassuming, B&B right in the heart of the Marais. There are no frills, but the rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. Oh, and the breakfast is just right. It is a perfect base for exploring Paris.

Everything you need in a perfect location

Great location and good value for a Paris holiday. The room was well equipped even though small, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast is like a bed and breakfast vs a buffet, but had all the same items and all was served at the table. Loved the heated towel rack and nice hanging space with many hangars. AC was a plus at night for a cool sleep. Would recommend! The security was good, and the code vs keys system worked well. The hallway on the way up was a bit musty, but once you enter the first floor reception all is well☺️
