The location is amazing. Right in the heart of the Marais, a block from the famous Enfants Rouge markets, surrounded by shops and restaurants, and a short walk from several metro lines. The room was small, but this is Paris so that's to be expected. Highly recommend.

Hacking and rudeness...

I booked a night at this hotel on Booking.
Following a hack, my reservation was not honored.
Upon my arrival, the receptionist (as polite as a prison door) and lacking empathy, tells me that I would not have a room.
The hotel blames Booking, which shifts the blame onto the hotel.
I had to find other accommodation at the last minute.
I do not recommend this hotel and especially the quality of the service.

Do not book here

We met at the hotel at midnight and were greeted by a receptionist who was in no way service minded. He says that we haven’t booked a room and believes we have been scammed by booking.com. Would in no way help us further from there, we had to find a solution ourselves despite the time of the day.
Upon further investigation, booking.com can tell that our room was booked on the other side, as well as that the error was at the hotel. Will never book with them again.

The location is wonderful and convenient, just a few doors off Rue de Bretagne and convenient to Le Marais. The staff is quiet but helpful when asked. The rooms are small but comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and we needed it. The fitness area is strangely located through a tailor shop and off the breakfast area, but it did the job for us. The breakfast is good. We'd recommend this hotel.

Hotel Jacques de Molay is great!

My husband and I cannot give enough stars to Hotel Jacque de Molay in La Marais in Paris! The location is outstanding: close to 3 Metro stations, a laundromat about 100 meters down the rue, a La Poste location, several restaurants and markets, and a small green space, yet still highly walkable. The hotel itself has all you need: friendly and helpful staff members who were easy to communicate with, air conditioning, a fitness room, and a lift. We experienced a minor self-inflicted issue during our stay, and the manager and her staff were able to resolve it quickly and effortlessly. Our room was cozy yet highly functional; it had great closet space, and we were able to store our bags easily. We will stay at Hotel Jacques again on our next trip to Paris!
