Merci Moxy Bastille
This is a fantastic Moxy in Paris but let me start by saying that the rooms are tiny. There is no hiding this. If I was in a couple or friends sharing it would be uncomfortable as space really is lacking.
That being said, we had a wonderful stay here at The Moxy Bastille - the location is excellent for exploring the city and close to some really great bars, cafes, bakeries and shops. There are a few metro stations close by which are great to exploring further and connecting with the airport train.
There are a few wonderful bakeries within 2 minutes walk and Le Marais is a short walk away, with all the fantastic shopping that comes with the neighbourhood.
The bed was comfy, the shower good and the breakfast extensive and good quality. The staff were super friendly and helpful and even after a small mix up with the room they were gracious and attentive.
My pro tip here would be to read the room descriptions and check the photographs to ensure the room type and size is right for you.
Great stay, I would defo return here!

Absolute Scam
Cancelled my reservation for 2 rooms with no notice then tried to force me to rebook at a higher price.
Scammers of the highest degree. DO NOT BOOK WITH MOXY OR MARIOTT PROPERTIES. My response when contacting them was ‘too bad, you have to rebook at a higher price now’
Within minutes I found a better quality hotel with a slightly cheaper rate and closer to the tourist area. There’s a lot better out there…do not book here.

Great stay
The hotel has a great location! Nice neighbourhood with nice cafés, shops and restaurants.
The staff are very helpful and everyone speaks good english. Very good breakfast. The rooms are small, but clean. Thick and big towels. Close to the metro.

Moxy Bastille. Good and not so good.
We liked this hotel but he AC was terrible!! It was the smallest room I have ever had and as Platinum Elite member I thought I would not be put there. The area around it was nice with lots of dining options and the breakfasts were good. The courtyard was nice as well. The staff were great.

Avoid if you can, stay if on the tightest budget.
No AC for four days. Room exceptionally tiny; dont see how a couple can fit luggage in room without barricading yourself from toilet and front door. Not quirky or boutique; it is more of a University dormitory vibe. Sketchy neighborhood I quit walking side streets and stuck only to main roads. Best thing: inexpensive..less than 150 Euro on my deal....but not worth it. Reminder: "Moxy" brand is lowest end Marriot brand...doesn't warrant a Marriot label. Avoid Moxy. Spend 200 euro somewhere safe and functional.
