A real insider tip

We have been booking our seminar leaders into the hotel for years. Everyone loves the family and friendly charm of the hotel. It does not have clean facilities as is standard in hotel chains. And it is precisely this old-fashioned touch and the attractive price, as well as the best location, that make the hotel a real insider tip.

Classic? Definitely. Central? Less so. Affordable? Absolutely.

I'm not gonna lie, we needed cheap accommodation, so we found this hotel. Luckily, it was more than just affordable: it was awesome.
"Central", however, it is not. Located approximately 20 minutes by walk to Stuttgart's city centre, if you're hoping to be near the action (and the Christmas markets), you should perhaps consider looking elsewhere.
That being said, if distance doesn't bother you this place may just be perfect for you.
It offers a breakfast with the usual European spreads of deli meats, cheeses, as well as jams, toast, fruit, juice, and of course coffee.
The rooms are decently sized, with comfortable bedding and pillows.
The staff were kind and attentive.
The hotel has a lift.
It should be noted the hotel is outdated, or "Classic", for sure. It's clearly been at least a couple decades since the last remodel, but that didn't affect the quality of its services whatsoever.
I would definitely come back.

Simple but recommended

Small, rather inconspicuous hotel. Double room was relatively small, clean and had everything you need, even a minibar. For 1 night absolutely ok.
Lady at reception was very friendly, breakfast on Sunday until 11am, delicious and rich.
Great coffee machine.
Good price/conductivity ratio.

Very nice hotel located in a more residential part of the city. The staff was very welcoming and even though I arrived earlier than check in they were able to get me a room so that I could drop off my luggage and head out into the city. Conveniently close to METRO, five minute walk. The breakfast is Not huge, but a good selection to start out the day with meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, and also eggs on order, which were very delicious. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I am in the city. I appreciate the staff being very welcoming.

the hotel has a very good location near the city center which is a big advantage the rooms are clean and comfortable especially the beds are very comfortable the breakfast is sufficient with a good selection, but could be a little bit small for those who expect more variety the staff is friendly and helpful in all concerns the value for money is overall very good especially considering the central location
