The City is in the upper right quarter of that cross. The West/east-Highway A8 passes Stuttgart to the south, the north/south-highway A81 passes to the west. The B10 to the east; Esslingen, Göppingen, the B14 to the southwest; 'Stuttgarter Kreuz', Sindelfingen, Böblingen and the B27 to the south; the airport and Tübingen are important smaller roads.

It takes a little over 3 hours to reach Nuremberg by car from Stuttgart Airport. Get on the B27 to Stuttgart, then the A81 towards Leonberg. Follow the A81 to the A6 leading to Nuremberg and the city centre.

It takes just 20 minutes to reach Stuttgart from the airport. Get on the B27 from the airport then the B14 and follow the signs to the centre.
