The key feature of this resort are the pools. There is one large U-shaped one surrounding some restaurants, and many shallow ones near the buildings which house the rooms. The majority of guests seemed to be families with small children. The pools themselves are clean, but it didn't seem like too much attention was paid to cleaning the area surrounding the pools.
The rooms were nice and included a mini-kitchen. There was a very nice porch overlooking the pools. There were some minor maintenance issues such as a noisy fridge and a door handle which was coming loose. The cleaning of the rooms could have been improved.
The beach was pretty, but somewhat dusty and very rocky.
The main cafeteria was okay. They tried to provide a large variety of foods but a lot of that was deserts. There were never any meals that I was particularly enthused about. In the end, we started taking a taxi into the neighboring town which had a large number of restaurants rather than to eat at the cafeteria.
The main drawback of the hotel for me was its isolation. It is not really in a tourist area. A sister hotel is next door. There are 2 small markets near the lobby, but they mostly sell souvenirs. Still helpful to buy snacks, water, sunscreen or wine. There is a tram which stops outside the lobby "The little train" which conducts tours of the surrounding countryside, which was worthwhile.
If I were to return to the area, I think I would try another resort in the neighboring town.

Last day we had to use the common showers at reception to get ready and they were in a very very poor condition! It was a complete disappointment and ruined the whole stay

Nice stay. I've been in many all inclusive hotels ad I reckon that there is room for improvement on the food. The food wasn't bad at all, but in other all inclusive hotels I have found it much better, even in the area of Crete.
