Loved this novel accommodation!
First, let me say that Christiana and Valerio are excellent hosts! It was a little tricky to find the first time, but not after that. It’s located on the second floor. I loved how they incorporated the old stones and structure with the new remodel. It’s lovely and cozy. If you want to know anything about the archeological sites of Sardinia, Valerio is your man! When we decided to rent a car for a few days, Christiana quickly got on the phone and got it all arraigned. It was delivered directly in front of the hotel. When we called back and asked to extend the rental there was no problem. You can walk just about anywhere in Caglieri you would want to go from this location. There are excellent restaurants very near by, plenty of shopping, the old town, the fabulous market where you can see and buy the fresh vegetables, cheese, meat and fish, grocery stores and banks. We fell in love with Calglieri, Arche and Christiana and Valerio. When we come back, and we will…we will definitely be staying at Arche again.

Terrible experience
Host was extremely rude. Got lost on the way to the property host did not wait or say at least she was leaving. Would not make accommodations to return even though she had said she left five minutes ago? A vacation should not be stressful. With travelling there has to be allowed room for mishaps. Now I last minute have to make completely new reservations. If you have a late flight, get lost, or any hiccups along the way (which we cannot plan for) do not stay here. Extremely disappointed in the way the host handled the situation. She was rude, unhelpful and not understanding. I never leave reviews but as a traveller I want others to know they run the risk of having to find last minute accommodations if some mishap happens. A warning! I would give 0 stars if I could.

Great location, great host, nice stay
Great location by the waterfront although needs a bigger sign!. Lots of nice restaurants around, the owner is super welcoming and the entire place is very clean.
Bed was comfy, shower and toilet facilities were good. Very good value for money!
I’d also recommend using the breakfast voucher, great coffee and croissant

Amazing stay!
We got a very warm welcome from the hosts when first checking in, they’re absolutely lovely! They gave us tips on what to do in Cagliari and spent time explaining everything and calling up places to arrange tours for us. Through all of our stay they were super helpful.
The b&b offers a fully equipped kitchen with coffee, tea and snacks. The breakfast is arranged in cafes close to the accommodation which we enjoyed. The room was very clean and modern and they have everything you can need during your stay. Only minus was the restaurant under our window being super loud in the evenings until late, but that’s not the b&b’s fault of course.
All in all a very good stay in this lovely b&b and could highly recommend!

Hidden gem
When you first arrive the exterior will not impress you. That's where the negatives stop. Perfectly located, 5 minute walk or less to everything you need, train station, main bus station, harbour, old town, the city sights of Cagliari, bike hire, tour start points, restaurants and nightlife.
The rooms were clean, modern, well insulated and had comfy beds for a great nights sleep.
For breakfast you get a voucher which you can use in a few cafes nearby. That was actually cool as you got to check different places each morning.
The hosts were amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble, helping us arrange tours, etc. On arrival we were presented with a complimentary beer whilst they talked us through the particulars. Cupboards are well stocked with snacks and drinks. Whilst check out was 10am what we also really appreciated was that we could keep our luggage in the apartment until we caught our flight in the evening.
Poetto beach is only a short and easy bus ride away. Really nice boardwalk and plenty of restaurants / bars.
I would definitely recommend Arche, thought it was great. Thank you for a memorable stay!!
