Good value for the price, room cleaned daily and breakfast included. As long as you don’t mind the 10-15 minute bus ride from the ferry terminal it’s a good option for any budget conscious traveller.

Situation in the middle of nowhere. A bit outdated but cheap.

Something far away, but fine.

The hotel is located on the island of Lido which is outside of what is Venice proper, so you have to travel inside the island by bus to go to the vaporeto, and from there to Venice. In total an hour practically, taking the shortest path and links. Transportation in Venice works perfectly and always meets schedules.
Facilities are adequate, sober villas with well maintained gardens around. There is a tennis club with four clay courts, a good garden pool and an excellent restaurant (Smash) where you eat wonderfully at more affordable prices than in Venice, which is expensive: a third of beer costs between 6 and 8€ on average, here 5.50€ and hearty and well-crafted dishes between 10-20€.
There is also coffee machine, water, chocolate, soft drinks... at the entrance of the villas, with very reasonable prices.
Behind the hotel, 15 minutes away is the beach, in this area is totally unspoilt and with crystal clear water. Recommended if you have time left.
The staff are very attentive and friendly, they do not resemble the Venetians, who are usually drier.
Cleanliness is total throughout the premises.
As for the room, ugly design, has a terrace with metal chairs anchored to the ground by concrete blocks, very uncomfortable and useless. The beds are very small, although comfortable. The plugs next to the beds are behind the tables, so you have to remove them to access them. The bathroom is fair, with a rather small shower, and all in low light. The air conditioning worked perfectly.
Overall, for the price offered, it is acceptable, as long as you prefer to save money and spend a little more time on the move.
