OWNER TO BE SCRUPOLOUSLY AVOIDED - INDECENT ACCOMMODATIONS

It doesn't even deserve one star. One of the worst experiences in terms of accommodation.
Although the stay had been booked and - above all PAID - a month in advance, at the time of check-in our. reservation appears non-existent.
I would like to point out that, since our. upon arrival in Venice we tried – in vain – to contact the owner of the property at no. cell phone used for the entire deal.
Arriving at the b&b to leave our luggage, we found no answer at the number. in our possession, call the no. dedicated to check-in on the door. They provide the access code to the phone without, apparently, verifying our. reservation. So we go up to drop off our bags in a deserted reception area.
Ours are finished. visits, at 3.00 pm we try - still in vain - to contact the number. of cell phone in our. possession to arrange check-in. We therefore contact the other number again. to discover that our. reservation appears non-existent and that they would have called us after carrying out a check. After 20 minutes no one calls back. We called back and they told us that they would send someone to the b&b to fix the situation. A young girl shows up, new to her experience and, having verified payment, accompanies us - according to her - to a much nicer apartment 10 minutes away.
The girl uses maps because she doesn't know the location of the apartment at all (we therefore wondered how she knows which is nicer) and the minutes become almost 30. Once we reach the place she gives us the keys but we ask her to go up with us to take vision of the place. And luckily! We find a dilapidated apartment, unmade beds, used towels scattered everywhere, beer bottles, a bathroom in terrible condition. A filthy apartment in every part.
We speak to the girl and refuse the accommodation requesting an immediate refund. The owner spoke through the girl, not having the courage to speak to us directly. After several lies and excuses in an attempt to deny us the refund, the girl leaves with the promise that they would arrange the compensation.
Disheartened by the lack of dialogue with the owner, we persistently try to contact him on the phone until we receive a rude "be good..:", which leads to a heated argument. Needless to say, on the other end of the phone we found an extremely arrogant person with whom it was impossible to reason. Eventually we manage to get the payment accountant. The arrogance of this person meant that the refund was equal to the price paid for the room, without considering a share of compensation for the problems caused especially in finding new accommodation for 4 people, at 6pm on Saturday afternoon, for one night , to Venice. The icing on the cake: it was made clear to us that this behavior was not the result of an error, but rather a recurring behaviour.

Rude and unprofessional

I give 1 star because I can't give less.
We were supposed to stay in early March at this hotel. The reservation was made a month before.
When we arrived, no one greeted us. The number with which I had confirmed the booking never answered the phone calls, so we called the one on the intercom who opened the door and made us leave our luggage, telling us that we could check in calmly in the afternoon.
At our entrance we find a disturbing carpet but that's nothing..
We continued our day and at 3pm we tried to call the hotel to understand until what time we could check in and, surprisingly, our reservation was NON-EXISTENT.
Then, after they told us they would check, they never called us back.
We then headed to the hotel where after another few minutes of waiting a young employee arrived and told us that she had found us a solution in a BEAUTIFUL apartment just 10 minutes away.
Accompanied by the girl and getting lost in the alleys of the city, after a good 25 minutes we arrive at the apartment. The young lady leaves the keys in our hands and apologizes for the inconvenience, ready to leave.
However, we asked to be shown the apartment and SURPRISE: unmade beds, dirty towels on the beds, bottles of beer opened and left around, handkerchiefs, toilet paper lying around the rooms, bathroom unusable and in pitiful conditions...
Embarrassing to say the least. The hotelier's proposal (indirectly because it was made through the young employee) was to leave us an hour free to clean the apartment... And the proposal was rejected on principle (in an hour then they wouldn't have cleaned all the dirt but only pretended).
I asked for an instant bank transfer, but alas their bank couldn't do it. After a heated discussion on the phone I managed to get a photo of the bank transfer sent which arrived three days later. Without a cent more, with a hotel room for 4 people to be found at 7pm at night and without
a minimum of kindness on the part of the manager who was not at all worried or apologetic about the situation, other than inviting us to stay calm and not bother us because he couldn't keep up with our needs.
I hope I have been exhaustive

BED BUGS everywhere!!!

I do not recommend this accommodation in any case. It's infested with insects. Bed bugs are in beds, sofas, armchairs and even in the bathroom. They crawled everywhere. We demanded a refund, no one heard back. They don't respond to messages. After leaving the hotel, we had to disinfect ourselves, spray clothes and luggages with disinfectant. Isolate everything so we don't bring it home. Never again!!!

Just the location

I would say that this beautiful structure only has a central location near the Rialto Bridge and a few steps from Piazza San Marco. Otherwise the structure is old, the rooms are small, lots of carpets, a bit of a smell, small bathroom, difficult check-in, who is there? received did not even speak Italian and breakfast is not served for these services, the daily asking price also seems very expensive to me
