A Wonderful Sakura Season Experience by Kagoshima Bay

This was the third hotel my wife and I stayed at during our Cherry Blossom trip. I found our room to be clean, and welcoming and homey atmosphere. The lobby and hotel architecture were likewise very well-maintained. The staff were easy to communicate with and were very helpful with finding things to do like the sand steam bath. The breakfast and buffet were wonderful as well. We found that there was super value in everything that the hotel had to offer. The view of Kinko Bay was quite wonderful, and we were able to make it to Kotsuki Riverbank to admire the cherry blossoms. The noise level was almost as if there was a mute button on in the room, and both my wife and I slept soundly. It was a wonderful experience and we will certainly visit again!

Delicious buffet

The buffet dinner was absolutely amazing, and super value for money. Lots of variety with local produce, plenty of food from the basic set, plus option to add special beef, pork or seafood. Dessert and drinks options were also very generous.

Sand steam bath experience

It's a long hotel on the side, so people staying in the end room might have a bit of a trip to the bath or restaurant? The rooms and lobby were renovated beautifully, but the public bath felt a bit old (age). But the water was good. There is a charge, but you can experience a sand steam bath. If you come to Kagoshima, this is it! I wish our guests were free! The breakfast and dinner were delicious. It was a plan to compare the three major black meats of Satsuma, but was it good just to have half buffet? It was quite a lot.

Sand-Bug Bath

[Accommodation] 27,300 yen per person (bath tax 300 yen). Packed with Kagoshima local flavors! Satsuma cuisine × half buffet
・On the Uomidake side, a Japanese-style room of 8 tatami mats, the Sunamushi hot spring "Yusa" with loquat leaves. Plus 100 yen
Parking available
【Comments】First, after arrival, go to the public bath. After a short break, we took the tickets we had asked for at check-in and went to the sand bath.
Although it is outdoors, it is built like a plastic house, so it is not cold except for the conductor from the large bath.
There were two sandbasket baths that could hold about 20 people, just one of them was full, and the sandbasket baths we were going to go into were filled with hot spring water and sterilized.
It was about 20 minutes in because it was not hotter than other sand munching baths I entered four years ago. You can bring your own phone here, too, and your uncle will take your picture.
No one used the loquat leaves except us. Sure, it smelled just a little bit, and it worked???
The water is heated by a sodium spring that flows directly from the water. The open-air baths were facing the promenade, so the view itself was not good.
The meal was satisfied with stable vacation village quality. Chiran tea and handmade monaka are excellent!
However, the fact that I was charged for alcohol that I didn't ask for at checkout and had to wait about 15 minutes to correct it was a big negative point.
In the morning, I attended a walk (4 people in 2 groups) and was asked to tell me about Ibusuki.
This time, I was on the Uomidake side, but I thought that if the weather was good, the sea side would be better.

Complaints about breakfast experience

I am writing to express my disappointment with my breakfast experience at your property this morning. I entered the breakfast area at 8:15 and was told it would finish at 9:00. However, at approximately 8:50 while at the fruit counter, a somewhat chubby young Asian man with glasses became agitated towards me and angrily waved his body and hands indicating that he could not eat any more. After I had finished the rest of my meal, he rudely asked me to leave. As a result, I leisurely finished my meal with my family and by the time I left the wall clock was striking exactly nine. I chose your property following a recommendation from the YouTube channel "Baiyu Japan" but the experience was unexpectedly disappointing. I will not be using your property in the future.
