The staff were kind and helpful. The hostel has beautiful murals. Rooms clean and spacious.
Fyi, they speak Spanish only but we did fine with only knowing a little of the language.

Staff was pleasant and helpful despite not Speaking English. The hostel is on a busy street. Shared bathroom was always clean. I would book again if I go back to Lima. Price was good. Don’t forget earplugs if you go.

Beware of hostal staff thieves

I only spend 2 nights in the hostal, but left with a very bad feeling. The Personal have searched inside of my backpack for valuables belongings, and steal 170Euros and 70$. It was just on my arrival and start of my trip, so certainly I was not prepared, this was my mistake. I would certainly suggest to use the locker for any valuables, because there you cannot trust anyone, and they also do not want to take any responsability, for things you leave in your private room.

Perfect place in historical centre

Very nice place to stay. Located 1 min from plaza de armas. Very clean. Wifi working. Great atmosfere over there. The owners are great and helpfull. Definitely recommending!
Regular price and there is a possibility to bargain, especially in low season.

Great stay in historic downtown Lima.

I had an excellent stay at Hostal Yaki on 2 recent visits to Lima. Superb location on the pedestrian walking avenue that connects 2 historic plazas. Stores + restaurants at your front door.Taxis+ tour buses 100 ft away. This hostal is well run by caring and helpful people, secure with 24 hour front desk, very clean, affordable, and the location is +++
