We were in transit thanks to Qatar Airways. We did not have time to enjoy all the services, but the facilities edta very well and the staff are very friendly.

terrible room conditions
I stayed here as part of a complimentary transit layover with Qatar Airways, and while the hotel staff themselves were incredibly kind, welcoming, and tried their best to accommodate me, the room conditions were highly disappointing.
The hotel is severely outdated and poorly maintained. My room was incredibly humid, dusty, and heavily carpeted. The chairs were covered in stains, and the thick, heavy curtains clearly hadn't been washed in years—they were literally turned grey from accumulated dust. As someone with severe allergies, this triggered an immediate medical reaction, leaving me sneezing all night, with migraine and allergic reaction.
Even though the reception team was helpful enough to move me to a third room to try and find a cleaner space, the entire property is carpeted and has the same underlying issues. The staff gets 5 stars for their efforts, but management seriously needs to deep clean this property and replace the filthy furnishings.

Miss Universe
Qatar Airways provided me with a complimentary stay at the Century Hotel. This hotel is absolutely beautiful and clean. The staff was very friendly, nice, helpful, and professional. The food buffet was alright. I liked the shower because the water pressure was very strong. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

I had a spacious room. Housekeeping service by Mostak (??) was exceptional, didn't miss a thing. Front desk staff were all very helpful. And kudos to Vincent and the other young man who helped me with my luggage at both check-in and check-out. Hotel and my room were very clean. Great location, 5-7 walk from Metro. Good value, would highly recommend.
NOTE: this was not a perfect stay. I sent the hotel a message or two through Expedia, reconfirming my special requests. This was five months in advance. I received no acknowledgment or reply. Not impressed. Fortunately, the fellow who checked me in made things right.
As well, the walls are paper thin and I had loud neighbours who were up talking very loudly at 1am/2am. The first night security talked to them and they quieted down. The next night there were kids yelling and running in the hallways, and slamming doors. This was around 1230/100am, and I phoned front desk again. I don't think security did anything because the kids did not quiet down. I was disappointed.
But overall, it was a lovely stay and I would have been happy to stay even longer.
TIP: If you are coming from the airport on the Metro with luggage, I would not take the National Museum exit. Although it is a bit shorter, the path is a bit gravelly/stoney and lugging my suitcase across this type of surface was very difficult.
