Visit without overnight stay
I wasn’t a guest in the traditional sense — I visited with my girlfriend for an afternoon, spoke with the team, walked through the property and took photos. Worth mentioning upfront, but it doesn’t change what I saw.
The terrace is the moment you understand what this hotel is about. Sun beds facing the bay, beach directly below, no rush. The Beso Beach restaurant behind it — rattan pendant lights hanging from a coffered ceiling, floor-to-ceiling glass with sea views, tables set as if the evening already started — has an atmosphere that’s genuinely rare.
The lobby and common areas carry that warm, lived-in character that Zel keeps consistent across its properties. No hotel coldness, no design for design’s sake — more like spending time at someone’s home who happens to have exceptional taste.
If you know Mallorca and haven’t been to the Zel yet, it’s worth a visit — even just for a few hours.

Beso Beach’s rattan-and-sea-glass symphony clearly worked its charm, though we can’t take credit for the sunset, just for framing it perfectly between your cocktail and the coast.
Nothing warms our team more than hearing the lobby felt like crashing at your impossibly stylish friend’s seaside pad. Though we might start charging extra if you keep spreading the secret about our ‘accidental’ perfection!

10 out of 5 stars if I could.
So far, this has been the best hotel experience I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Everything about Zel Mallorca felt special — from the beautiful design and perfect amenities to the warm atmosphere the team creates.
A special thank you to Sol, who made our check-in experience absolutely perfect from the very first moment, and to Marina Jimenez, who went above and beyond to help us during check-out with such kindness and professionalism. Both of them genuinely made us feel welcomed, cared for, and valued throughout our stay. Staff like them are rare and deserve real recognition.
Every day, the team provided fresh water for my dog and kept our beautiful room spotless. That level of care and attention truly stood out.
The breakfast was top-notch, with an incredible view of the beach. We also loved the concept of having no traditional reception desk while still always having friendly staff nearby, ready to help with a genuine smile.
My wife, my dog, and I truly enjoyed our stay, and we will absolutely be coming back again hopefully very soon.

Zell hotel
Fried eggs are all hard and over cooked, no sunny side up, the rest of breakfast is good. Milk could do with being chilled a bit more, the hotel has music playing until 10:30 at night needs to tone down a couple of notches, same in gym, can’t hear my music from my earbuds,

A wonderful holiday at Zel Mallorca ☀️
What a relaxed and fantastic well cared for holiday at Zel Mallorca! The lovely, relaxed atmosphere in the hotel will put you in holiday mode immediately upon entering.
We were warmly received by Marta and Marina Jimenez. Also at check out everything was perfectly arranged. We were allowed to use a hotel room after checking out to freshen up for our return flight. What a great service!
The extensive and healthy breakfast buffet was really great. All the trends were present and breakfast in the bohemian atmosphere with sea views completed it.
After a drink on the house and a nice chat with Marta and Marina, unfortunately our dream holiday came to an end. Zel Mallorca is definitely recommended and we would love to come back! ❤️

Fijn dat onze gastvrijheid direct de vakantiesfeer activeerde, wie heeft er nog een aan-uitknop nodig als je hier binnenstapt?
Dat uitgebreide ontbijtbuffet met zeebliksemvangers is inderdaad onze geheime manier om gasten ’s ochtends al te laten stralen.
Die verfrissingsruimte na checkout bieden we graag aan, want niemand wil als een zoutkorrel het vliegtuig in hobbelen!
We hopen je in de toekomst nogmaals van dienst te mogen zijn.

A 10 out of 10 hotel and team
We chose this fantastic hotel in Mallorca again. We never get tired of visiting it. Everything is top10, rooms, dining service, cleaning service, facilities, but what stands out above all of that is the staff that makes it possible. I could not name each one of them, although without a doubt they would all deserve that honor, but as a representative I would like to thank Lara, Juanjo, Mariana, Aura, Marina…..The whole team, without exception, has made us spend some wonderful days again. We will return…..!!!
