Peace of mind, Good Deal and Comfort!
We stayed at the Ciudad Cangas de Onís Hotel from November 18 to 20, 2025. The location is excellent, as the hotel is located in the heart of Cangas de Onís.
The room was very cozy and the decor makes the atmosphere very pleasant. Both the mattress and pillows offered a good level of comfort. In addition, we were assigned a room overlooking the river; looking out onto the balcony and contemplating it was a real pleasure.
The hotel staff was very attentive throughout. The morning receptionist stood out for her kindness and for helping us whenever we need it.
The hotel offers buffet breakfast, along with simpler options like coffee and toast. Everything was very good and there was enough variety to start the day well.
The hotel has a gym with treadmills, different weight machines, etc. These facilities are located in the street opposite, about 20-30 meters away. Right next to the gym they also have a covered garage, costing only 9 euros a day.
Overall, our stay was very satisfactory. A highly recommended hotel.

Great value for money! Recommended.
We went from Sunday 11 to Tuesday 13 May 2025. We had booked more nights than we finally needed, and a few days earlier we sent them an email to ask if they could change the reservation. They did so without any problems, which is very much appreciated: )
About the hotel itself...our room was one that overlooks the river. We quite liked the quiet, the fact that we heard absolutely no noise and how immensely gigantic the bed was! I didn't know if it was a double or two singles together but we certainly didn't notice it at all. Over the wifi everything perfect, without any problems.
As far as the services available are concerned, the hotel has both gym and parking in a couple of places nearby, on the sidewalk opposite the hotel. Parking is a little tight, so if you have a large car/you are in a hurry to park in tight spaces/you are only better off thinking twice, because it is difficult to park in corner spaces. Moreover, the hotel is next to the center, with an Alimerka (supermarket) nearby and several cafes a few meters away.
Finally, thanks to Andrea Fernandez! It was a charm and a very salty aunt when checking in and asking about things about the hotel. In short, a hotel more than recommended to spend a few days in Cangas de Onís, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms and a good location to spend a few days there... all savored with a good value for money. Recommended!

A hotel that does not reach 2 stars
Old-fashioned hotel, 4 stars is far away, the bar smells damp and the buffet sparse, sun terrace between bush , clean room and comfortable bed , we spend a lot of heat.

We loved the hotel, the room is cozy, the beds very comfortable and has a big TV and it looks great. The river views are super nice, quiet and relaxing. The staff working are very nice and friendly.
The room also has a fridge, although the door was not going very well and the bathroom shower is very spacious. The bathroom door in our room didn’t close quite right either and the gap where the toilet is was a little small for a tall person, but we would repeat.

Quiet hotel within walking distance of downtown
