Where to hire a car at Warsaw Airport
There are eight car hire companies with desks at Warsaw Airport: Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Europecar, Express, Hertz, Panek and Sixt. All of the desks are inside the terminal, so you don’t need to go far to pick up your car.
Petrol stations near Warsaw Airport
Depending on your car rental agreement, you may need to hand your car back with a full tank.
Luckily there is a Shell garage located just 10 minutes by car from Warsaw Airport. Take the DW634 from the airport and get on the S79. Take the DK2/E30 exit and continue on Pulawska where the petrol station will be on the right hand side.

Krakow can be reach from Warsaw Airport in 4 hours by car. Take the DW634 from the airport and get on to the S79. From here, take the DK7 and on to 29 Listopada in Krakow. Follow this road to Krakow.

It takes just under an hour to reach the Kampinos Forest from Warsaw Airport. Take the DW634 from the airport and then get on to the D2 following signs for the biosphere reserve.

It takes just 22 minutes to reach Warsaw from the airport. Take the DW634 from the airport and follow this to the DW631 following signs to the city centre.
There is a paid-parking zone in the centre of the city that applies from Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. Parking costs 3.00zł per hour. There are plenty of car parks to choose from around the city and many of the shopping centres and large malls also have parking. Some hotels in Warsaw also offer free parking.
