Great location, very helpful staff, clean and comfortable. Room temperature was well maintained. Noise level at night was almost zero even though we were on the second floor. I would highly recommend this hotel.

If you want to work in a hotel this is the place to be
I wanted to say that the time I had at the hotel was amazing. Kornel was a super kind waiter, always taking care of me and my friends, he was super nice, taking the time to chat. I recommend for anybody who wants to drink a nice cappuccino.

Superior 4* hotel and in a great location
First time in Budapest and booked this fantastic hotel after a friends recommendation.
The Continental is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and will definitely use it if in Budapest.
Exceptionally clean and in pristine condition.
Lovely big room and large comfy bed with decent bathroom.
The breakfast had a good range of hot & cold food with plenty choice of food.
Although it was busy we had no problem getting a table and the food was replenished regularly.
The hotel is in a really good location- close to plenty of pubs/restaurants including the famous Ruin Bars.
15 minutes walk to the city centre and Danube.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful - a credit to your hotel.
I would recommend this hotel - it really is a superior 4*

A perfect place to stay
My wife and me stayed at the hotel in August. Very good and friendly staff. For those who prefer to explore the city by transport - there is a nearby metro station. We were pleasantly surprized to find out that a Great Synagogue is only about 200 meters away - a must visit place. It was purely incidental - if there is anything incidental at all.
The room at a hotel was spacious, air-conditioned, and one could feel it working only by a sensation of cool air filling the room. with external temperature of more than 30 degrees Centigrade, air-conditining was a blessing. The room was very clean. The bathroom was very convenient, and the floor stayed dry after showering. The only thing that was not less than satisfactory - mattresses too soft, not good for my back.
Our room was very silent, no outside noise or street noise at all.
But the best thing for us was, of course, a wellness center. Opened throughout the day until late, it featured an enormous sauna - a platoon could easily use it simultaneously, with solitary guests enjoying the heat. Also a reasonably sized swimming pool and another one - under the sky. After wandering all day in the city it was a great pleasue to visit a wellness center - and we did it every day of our stay.
Breakfast was good, and a meal we had on the evening before leaving the hotel was very good - I'd say, better than the food at most other restaurants in the city.
If we return to Budapest on another occasion - we'll certainly want to stay at this hotel.

Nice hotel. Walking distance to most things. Pool area was a bit cramped since it was popular and very hot. Could have been more shade. Breakfast was really good.
Elevators was a bit weird since they went up and down illogically. Recommend staying here.
