Avoid this place
This was probably a great place 10 years ago or so. Since then it has been neglected. The staff could learn a thing or two about friendliness and customer care. AVOID THIS PLACE!

great experience here
The hotel is a couple blocks from the Vorgartenstrasse station on the U1, I think, and if you head south, there's another U-bahn station 4-5 blocks away, Messe Prater, on another line. We tended to walk into the city center in the morning, and then used the u-bahn to come home in the afternoon after our legs gave out.
Many grocery stores in the area, so that you can buy some stuff to keep in the fridge in the room. We found a Strock bakery up Vorgenstrasse the last day we were there, and wished we'd known about it earlier (although we probably would have put on 5 pounds if we had). There's also a bunch of ATM's in the neighborhood if you need Euros (just don't use any terminal that's part of Euronet); the only problem we had was that some of the ATM's only spoke German, or at least I couldn't figure out how to switch them to English.
Vienna Suites is in a residential neighborhood, so if you are looking for a hotel that's next door to the tourist areas, this would not be the place for you. We liked it because it was quiet and low-key, which was nice to come back to at the end of the day.
And, if you are someone who likes clowns, there's a circus and clown museum 3 blocks away; I took a picture of it to freak my son out (not a fan of clowns) but we didn't go in ourselves.

not bad but still a lot to improve
cleanliness way to improve, found insects in the bedroom, towels changed only after 5 days of stay, A nice TV but except CNBC & BLOOMBRG, no real english stations.
shower very slippery, and no anti slippery mat.
the only thing tha exceeded our expectation was the price, far too exagerated for the value.

Very smart & romantic apartments
Visiting Vienna in January is awesome and this apartment really helped make our trip.
Its on a quiet road away from the hustle but don't worry its about a 15 minute walk into the main part of town. At the end of the road there is the underground which is a quick ride to various parts of the city quicker than walking.
Apartment was clean with lovely old style boutique furniture and a comfortable bed. This isnt like a typical hotel. The rooms are like self contained apartments and very nicely decorated. The bathroom has a separate shower and bath which are very nice. The only strange thing about it was that there is a washing machine in the bathroom. There is no kitchen.
Staff are very accommodating and friendly and happy to answer questions I had about what to see in the city.
Very good location
