Not overcrowded

We stayed in this lovely place for 5 days. Staffs are very polite and accomodating. However, they do not speak English much. Our room is very nice with TV in the lounge and room. They regularly clean the room daily and change towels. I just don’t seem to undrrstand why there were flies inside the lounge when we keep everything shut. The pool outside is very clean and good place to sit down in the evening to relax. We have enjoyed our stay here and had bery good night sleeps =) By the way, food in the restaurant is very good too and place is not overcrowded!

A unique escape from Sunny Beach into the ethnic

A pictoresque cascade of ethnic architecture and water, combined with ethnic/traditional Bulgarian cuisine and warm welcome service, with the host's personal attention. There are meal specials that can be ordered in advance (big piece of lamb, rabbit etc) but also a great regular menu, each item of which arrives in fresh ingredients and tasty package. Good for kids as well who can play around the cascade pools, the rabbit cages or the playground just outside.

A beautiful place 12 km apart from the awful crowd

We spent 4 wonderful days at complex Starite kushty ( the old houses) in Bulgaria. This is a quiet oasis only 12 km apart from the crowds in Nesebar and The Sunny Beach at the Black Sea. The complexs is very clean. The staff is friendly, helpful and very professional. The swimming pool is cristal clear. The food in the restaurant is perfect. There is a nice forest near- by for a walk. The complex offers jeep safaris in the mountain. A good value for money. Highly recommended!

Complex with traditional houses for rent, a restaurant & a pool

We visited this place on a windy day, to take a short break from the hustle and bustle of Sunny Beach. It has been built on a hill above the pretty village of Medovo.
We came with 3 small children who loved playing around the yard and the tiny playground (located outside the Complex) and we all enjoyed tradition Bulgarian food on the restaurant's terrace.
The pool (situated in the middle of the Complex and surrounded by a few loungers) is a small jewel and offers guests the chance to cool down on hot days.
The only negative is that the streets leading to “Starite Kashti” is very challenging and that we had to leave our car on an unpaved read next to the main entrance.

Ресторан «Старите Къщи» абсолютно не заслуживает Вашего внимания.
Обслуживание на двойку.
1. Свинска пържола - сухая резина.
2. Жаренный сыр - худший, что мы пробовали в Болгарии.
3. Сач - вообще не поняли… Мясо порезано малюсенькими кусочками, в целом больше похоже на кашу из мяса и супер переваренных овощей.
4. Ни одно блюдо не совпадало с заявленной граммовкой.
5. Печена агнешка - пожалуй, худшая из того, что мы где-либо пробовали. Соленая, одни кости и пересушенная максимально.
Один плюс - счёт 200 Лев на 8 человек.
Спасибо хоть на этом.
