Delightfully old school

I had to come to Krtiny for 3 days on business; my stay here was very comfortable. As you might expect in a rural area, most people's English was not great. But everyone was very friendly and eventually we made ourselves understood. The kitchen open times are somewhat restricted (8-10am for breakfast, and 6-8pm for dinner), but when I had to be up and out early they sorted me out an early breakfast. The food was generally good - especially the pork medallions - though I would have preferred a bit more fresh salad / vegetables / fruit. One minor annoyance: the wifi settings were such as to prevent a video call on WhatsApp (circumventable with a VPN, as long as the connection holds up).

very nice

Love the place, love the view, love the food, love the room. It looks old and scary on the outside but nice on the inside. Cheers! :) Located in the hills beside a very nice Cathedral. A bit far from Brno, but you'll love the peaceful place.

Idyllic site far away from the crazy world

A special site at less than 1/2h from Brno in a famous pilgrim settlement offers a unique atmosphere of peace and privacy in the middle of the nature. Rooms are state of the art, integrated in a baroque architecture. Restaurant offers traditional Moravian food and local beer. Young staff is always ready to give a helping hand speaking fluent English and German. An appropriate resting place also for bikers, hikers and travellers.
