Nice hotel in the center of Telc

Located a little set back in the corner of Telc's main square. Some rooms have a view of the main square. We had room number 9 in the attic. It was very opinionated and the view was beautiful, especially in the evening at sunset. However, there is no lift, so for the disabled, the rooms upstairs are not recommended. The rooms overlooking the garden are certainly quieter than those overlooking the main square. Saturday was market day and therefore it was loud early in the morning. At night, however, always very quiet and you could sleep well with the window open.
The rooms have a small fridge but no safe and no air conditioning, but did not disturb us despite the heat, a fan is available.
The staff is very friendly, we got a parking card, and could park for free at the parking lot outside, about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. You can drive to the hotel to load and unload your luggage.
Rooms are cleaned only on request, in 3 days there was no cleaning, but we have got fresh towels if necessary.
Breakfast is served buffet style in the basement, and offers something for every taste. The coffee was very good. You can also have breakfast in the natural very quiet garden. We really enjoyed it.
At the main square there are some very good places, in the hotel itself is a pastry shop with very good pastries.
We were very pleased and will definitely come back. Telc is a very nice town and there is a lot to discover in the area.

Great for one night stay

A lovely old building, with updated facilities, as well as a covered parking area for bicycles. The location was right in the town square and easy access to shops and restaurants. The breakfast was good.

Huge misunderstanding

I booked a room for weekend on Booking.com. Few days before arrival I got a text message that hotel is cancelling my reservation for some reason. They haven't changed anything in reservation on Booking.com, did not reply any of emails and Booking themselves also were unable to contact this place for few days.

Unique Hotel

Great location, right in the town square. Hotel staff very helpful with any questions. Room 9 was great. Very spacious and a view looking out over the square. Breakfast was exceptional with a variety of cold and hot items.

Old Style Accommodation but Quiet

A huge plus for me is silence at night, which is difficult in Europe where church bells ring all night long. I had a horrid experience at another Telc small Hôtel because of this problem last year. This time my room - 9 - had a panoramic view of the square which was gorgeous. Yes, the furniture is very dated but it works. It’s a simple place, breakfast is likewise very simple. But, friendly and clean. Parking temporarily right outside the hotel while you unload or load. Inexpensive overnight parking not far away.
