Great location

This hotel is conveniently located in the historic center city a block from the main square and cathedral. This stay was a great value and the room was very clean. The lobby is very charming with a small waterfall. Unfortunately I didn't have a chance to stay for the free breakfast. My only complaint is that I could not get hot water. There were instructions on the wall but no matter what I tried I could not get a warm shower.

disappointment

The treatment by the owner was undignified, he wanted to charge us for the pet 20 € a day, charge not at the height of the Hotel and especially the owner, his humane treatment is deplorable squealing and mistreating the staff he has, having them totally subjected to inhuman treatment

Good but could cost less

It was booked through booking.com and I thought I found a great discount and it was but once you arrived you noticed that it doesn't look like in the photo, room is pretty normal, i do think that price justifies what you receive as client and staff didn't do their job, I didn't like receptionist attitude

Mostly OK

What I liked:
Great location, right in the middle of the City and a couple of blocks away from Calderon park.
Excellent for budget travelers.
Breakfast is included and it is pretty good for the price.
What I did not like:
No elevator
Small and bulky TV
Not so comfortable room.
In conclusion. You get what you pay. Balancing everything, it is a good choice for a quick trip if you are low on cash and require a well located hotel in downtown Cuenca.

Unprofessional service and very limited breakfast

I had a very dark room without any "real" windows. The room did not had any lamp beside the bed. When I pointed this out I got one that was barely working. The breakfast did not have any choices, all you got was a small bread, some jam and scrambled eggs.
I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel. The only good thing I can remember was the water (hot and cold) that was available 24 hours.
