The Eurohostel is a convenient and inexpensive place to stay in Helsinki. The rooms are bare bones but clean with comfortable beds. I stayed in one of the upgraded rooms with new cabinets and a TV. If you can deal with having to walk a few steps to the bathrooms in the hallway, this is a good place to stay.

Great place with very good location and brilliant value for money. The rooms were just fine and the same goes for the common toilets and bathrooms. We could check in early for free which was awesome!

Poor conditions of rooms, toilets-showers, and sauna

The hostel staff were very kind and professional. In terms of appearance and interrior, the hostel sense was old-fashion, outdated, defective, and creepy The hostel hygiene is a big question during my 2-night stay! The room cleaning seemed whitewashed. The lockers inside the rooms were broken. The walls are so thin that i could not sleep as people from neighbouring rooms were talking on the phone throughout the night. The ironing board was in an awful condition. No one can rely on the hairdryers, as they're in really poor conditions. In addition to broken equipment, toilets and showers were very dirty and stinking all the time. It was so hard for me to use them. Toilets do not have water hose. While the drying machine was weak and sometimes broke, there were no drying papers. The sauna 's showers had no shower gels. The sauna itself seemed sometimes neglected to be cleaned, as once I visited at both night and morning hours. There is a terrible constant smell in the sauna.

Perfect Pit Stop Close to Centro

Rooms are excellent, thick walls/solid. Security is very good with swipe card entry throughout, and good bike storage. Laundry, kitchen and bathrooms all top standard. Very clean etc. Everything works and staff are helpful. Highly recommended.
