This was one of only 2 lettings at the property, a roomy 2 room suite. It is a period property. Stairs are a little steep. Rooms were charming, with plenty of space and the owner's original artwork around. The owner, Michele, was very helpful and also charming. The location is easy for the sights, such as the Palais des Papes, and a little over 15 minutes walk from the central station. It's on a quiet backstreet, (though we did hear some noisy people about 2 am each night for a few minutes - bit annoying but brief). Not very obvious to find - look for big green doors and the No 15. Nice relaxing stay in Avignon.

Lovely stay in the heart of Avignon

We had the most delightful stay at Cocooning. My husband and I stayed in the upstairs apartment, and our friends (another couple) stayed in the downstairs apartment. The furnishings were lovely, the beds were comfortable, and the artwork (mostly the creation of the owner, Michele), was stunning. Michele was an amazing host, and she helped us with dinner reservations, booking a taxi, and offering general tips and recommendations. If/when we return to Avignon, we will definitely stay at Cocooning again!

The apartment is in a very central location although there is no local parking and the parking is a 15 minute walk or use the free bus service. The apartment is 'eclectic' in its furniture and layout but is comfortable and has all the necessary amenities.
Unfortunately the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before we arrived.
Michele is a lovely lady and her recommendations for sites and restaurants was very helpful.

Her home is a museum, art gallery, comfy,
and so special!
Do yourself a big favor.. book it!

wonderful hospitality in a centuries old building

Nestled in a 16th century courtyard this accommodation was amazing. The owner Michele greeted us and gave us a tour and history of the location. All the amenities are available in the unit with the kitchen, which is on the main floor. Beautifully decorated with a comfortable bed., the room opens onto a central hallway, which opens on to the courtyard. It is within walking distance of everything in old town. We would certainly go back if just to experience the hospitality of Michele.
