Holiday feel with home warmth

What a delightful retreat, with classy holiday feel furnishing, spacious rooms great beds and lush gardens with a delightful eating area overlooking the beautiful water.
The hostess Valerie, is a gracious, lovely, knowledgeable, caring friendly hostess who made us feel like we were visiting friends not staying at a hotel/Air BNB.
Breakfast was like a catch up with friends not guests and the rooms all have very spacious balconies, a pool to cool off with too.

Excellent stay, place is so nice and clean and well kept. Hosts, Valerie et Lauren are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was perfect. You do need a car to get to the place and to get around. The drive up to the place on a hill could be challenging for weak driver.

Exceptional hosts and place!!!

Between the ocean and the mountains, Maison Taîna is discovered in all its beauty: a beautiful colonial-style building, spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated rooms. A welcome swimming pool when the sun darts a little too hard. A Fare Pote'e where you can have meals, overlooking the sea through the bougainvillea. A delicious and hearty breakfast: freshly baked pastries, fruit, hot drinks and juices.
Coming to Papeete for work, I stayed there for 15 days, before my husband joined me there for another week. I stayed in the Taïna room, then we were accommodated in the Hibiscus suite. Both extremely comfortable and very well equipped.
But what makes the difference compared to the very nice hotels where we stayed afterwards is the warm welcome of Valerie, Laurent and Tom. Very attentive, they made sure to make our stay as pleasant and friendly as possible. Many thanks to Valerie and Laurent for their advice on places to visit, restaurants, trailers where to eat. Thank you too, for the generous sharing of their knowledge of Polynesia - its culture, its history...
Very strong bonds were built and we left with the impression of leaving our house.

a warm welcome from Valérie, who took great care of us. A family-run guesthouse with a human touch. Very good breakfast. Option to have laundry done. An excellent family guesthouse. We will return after our journey in the islands.

The cozy little nest.

We were warmly welcomed by Valérie and Laurent. The accommodation is a small nest perched with a splendid view of the ocean and the mountain. Valérie was an exceptionally kind host and provided us with many tips to ensure we had a perfect stay. What more can I say but a huge thank you to Valérie and Laurent.
