Overall, the hotel and the car park does not feel safe. It is in a rough neighborhood.
The only positive is that the rooms are spacious.
We opted to cut our losses and moved to a better hotel in another part of town.

My stay was a nightmare
The sheets were not clean, which was disgusting, but I had no choice. There was no receptionist, and since I arrived late, I couldn’t book another hotel to avoid this one. Don't trust
Do NOT go there.

Absolutely unacceptable at the usury price of 180 Euro p.p./night
Starting with the much too narrow parking spaces in the backyard, via a broken elevator and a room on the fourth floor, the room was extremely spartan and equipped with a 90 cm bed with a slack mattress. The glued PVC floor has come loose at every step. The bathroom was very cramped and on the toilet maybe children or teenagers can sit down, but adults can't. The space between the wall and the shower cubicle is limited anyway and is still significantly narrowed by the toilet paper holder. The bathroom was not as clean as befits this intimate area. The silicone joints of the shower were moldy. The mirror in the room and the windows to the balcony have probably not been cleaned in weeks. The balcony was dilapidated rather than usable and was also anything but welcoming. For a room that normally costs 45 euros per night (statement of the MA at the reception, who says he is a student and works there twice a week, but does not know who to call in case of problems such as a failed elevator), this may be acceptable. But due to the Champions League football match, 180 euros for the night (incl. poor to mediocre breakfast) was called here. THAT'S A CHEEK. This simply exploits the fact that the room supply in the former coal mining town is quite limited and demand exceeds supply on days with large events.
Rounding off the bad impression is the district, which gives anything but a sure impression.
Never again. Not even a gift.
