Geniales Hotel, exzellent

We have come in small family three after 11 h drive from the holiday, we were warmly welcomed and could eat so late almost before kitchen finish. The staff is always nice until the last minute, a thank you to Martina, Norbert and Tom you are great Bavarian, we liked it so much that we stayed a day longer on short notice. Nothing was missing, everything is super well organized in Dutch down to the smallest detail, in every room, really all rooms each had its own Bavarian history. Thank you for these insights into the Bavarian world.

A great address for a trade fair stay

I stayed there during a trade fair and the price is very good and not completely excessive as so often during a trade fair. The room is nicely decorated , with a few small prints . The bathroom was a bit dirty in the niches though. The restaurant is as the name suggests very cozy with delicious beer and hearty food. The prices are a bit too high in my opinion at the present time. The staff was attentive and friendly. I'd love to come back

It is worth a stay at the hotel, the food is very tasty!

Hotel rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated.
Small minus - mattresses could be softer! There is an elevator, and underground parking. The restaurant has a good menu, you can eat really delicious.
The good soul in the house was the "host" Tom, friendly and courteous.
Breakfast was always great. We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff.

Terrible place, shabby, looking on highway, as a guest I was ripped off

What a terrible place. Rooms are about a noisy restaurant with very loud singing and folk music. The interior was supposed to be village-like, but instead, it looks happy. The windows look on a busy highway. A portion of the hotel is under some repairs. I left the hotel after the 2nd night as I could not get rest. On my way back, the elevator broke, or it was intentionally switched off, so I could not descend using an elevator with heavy suitcases. I managed to take both suitcases down the staircase anyway. I was checking out before 11 AM. Yet, the reception person was charging me for 9 more nights and 10 more breakfasts. He told me that to avoid those additional charges, I had to write an email to Mr. Klaus Bartl, apparently the owner of the establishment, to free up my credit card if it was charged. It turned out they charged my credit card on the first day instead of the last day. That owner refused to refund the balance and then he did not respond to a follow-up. I am going to enforce a protection as a VISA platinum member to get my money back for the the days I did not stay and breakfasts I did not attend or eat. In short, it is a lousy place, nothing even close to hospitality, where one could get ripped off, as I was. George
