Upon arrival I was offered an apartment (Hirsch boarding house) which has AC for an extra of 10 Euros per night. The apartment was beautiful and sparkling new and the AC helped me sleep well at night.
Breakfast was great and dinner as well.
The staff was very helpful and welcoming.
Definitely a special place and the price for the apartment was very affordable.
I would highly recommend this place!
It is also an alternative to pricy hotels in Strasbourg. If you have a car, it is definitely worth the 20 min drive.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, close to Strasbourg
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Outside of check-in times, you can access the house and the room key in a special way.
The room was very clean and comfortable with a large balcony, more like a terrace, which is shared with neighboring rooms. The beds were great and the mattresses were not worn out.
We had dinner in the hotel's own restaurant. It is advisable to make a reservation. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A fork fell from the table, which was audible. Seconds later, the waiter stood next to us and requested the fork for replacement. The food was simply excellent and tasted wonderful.
The breakfast was also plentiful with cheese, meat, rolls, jams, etc. It met our wishes exactly and was superb.
There is also provision for thirst in between. Right by the side entrance, there is a refrigerator with various drinks, which can either be recorded on a list or paid directly with PayPal.
All in all, we can only recommend the Hirsch further.
