With such great accommodations, cycling tours are fun!

I was on the Remstal bike path by pedelec - and I'm glad I found this somewhat remote hotel.
The hotel has a very nice location in the countryside. Room and food in the restaurant were first quality. My pedelec was securely locked in the garage where I could also charge it.
But it is especially worth mentioning to me that both during and after my stay the care was excellent. I forgot a (personally expensive) book and a T-shirt in the room. And both were sent to me by the hotel immediately (after sending a parcel stamp).
Overall, the staff was far above average helpful, devoted and friendly. For example, Fau at the reception gave me two cereal bars for further cycling.

Very quiet location despite very good transport connections

Very spacious rooms with new bathrooms and in a very clean condition. A delicious breakfast buffet with freshly prepared egg dishes. The restaurant next door also serves very good food. In my opinion, there is nothing to complain about. The location is very good, right on a flat main road with a small lake.

A most pleasant brand-new hotel

The Mückensee hotel & restaurant is family owned and managed since 1926 and radiates German high quality. The newly built hotel opened in May 2016 and offers 24 rooms over 3 floors. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
The hotel is located at the southern edge of Lorch near the B29 motorway. Notwithstanding the road the hotel is very quiet as it is located in the forest next to a tiny lake.
Our room was tastefully furnished and decorated, fixed luggage rack, desk & chairs, large size flatscreen TV, wardrobe & safe, excellent double bed, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, toilet & rain-shower. All was impeccably clean. Complimentary mineral water but no coffee & tea making facility in the room. You find a coffee machine in the breakfast room.
Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet and free parking. Mückensee Biergarten & restaurant serves tasty Schwäbian & German dishes and good beer. The hotel is serving a very good breakfast.
The atmosphere in the spic & span Mückensee hotel is modern and we had an excellent stay. Highly recommended.

Klasse Lokalität und Hotel!!

Das Hotel ist sehr modern und für Familie/Freunde sehr geeignet. Wir waren auf der durchreiße und haben dort übernachtet. Waren sehr zufrieden. Das Restaurant ist auch top! Service sehr aufmerksam und Preisleistungsverhältnis war gut. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und kommen nochmal! Lage auch sehr gut, man kommt gut mit dem Auto, sowie mit dem Fahrrad bzw. Zu Fuß hin.

Sehr ruhiger Aufenthalt

Es gibt hier nichts zu beanstanden : sehr schönes und sehr sauberes Zimmer mit gutem Frühstück. Auch das Essen ist hier zu empfehlen. Personal topp! Zum Golfplatz sind es mit dem Auto nur ein paar Minuten. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.
