Excellent hotel

Fantastic hotel. I was tempted not to book because of the negative reviews, but fortunately I did. The price is really great and affordable for the area, which is not central but has everything you need.
It is certainly not perfect: it is true that there is a loud noise coming from the bathroom that could be fixed, but once the door is closed nothing can be heard; even the street noise is minimal. As for the temperature, you can adjust it according to your needs. Cleanliness is not impeccable, while the bed is very comfortable. I also read several reviews that talked about the impossibility of having extra towels when in fact, the information is clearly indicated in the lobby and everything is available following the instructions given.
Finally, as for the check-in, everything went smoothly (they sent me an email and a message with the room code and everything was also present on their app) and, when there was a small mix-up with the booking, WhatsApp assistance was great and quickly solved the problem (initially an automatic system responds, then an operator)
I believe that, for the price paid, you can not expect a five-star hotel; if you can fit even a minimum, I would say that it is perfect.
The only aspect that could be improved concerns communication, especially on breakfast: currently it is still bookable through Booking, but at the moment it is not available, as indicated in the hotel elevator.

Overall excellent, could recommend

Overall: Excellent. Luggage locker is very helpful, very specious room, sound proofing is amazing - no street noise heard at all!!, great place.
Negative:
1. breakfast, won’t recommend to anyone, 5 min walking from the hotel but long waiting time, and Numa price 15 Euro is more expensive than buying it on site for 12.50 Euros. Better have breakfast elsewhere .
2. Hairdryer is very poor quality , good had my own..

I have stayed at other Numa hotels in Europe and they are always excellent.
Given that there are no staff onsite and they simply send you your own code to access everything you need, the system works perfectly.
My room in Munich was very nice, well appointed and super quiet considering it was on the ground floor and close to busy intersections. I will definitely be staying here again.

Loved it! I'll remember it for my future trips

Even though it's not very central, I liked to location. Pretty accessible with public transport and very quiet.
The concept is really smart and the atmosphere is very enjoyable. In a way, it's a combination of the Airbnb model and a true hotel. No reception, no bar or restaurant, self check-in, self check-out. I didn't see any staff, except the cleaning staff.
The room was perfect for me, very clean, with all the right utilities. There is also a common kitchen area where you can find cutlery and other stuff, and where you can also work after check-out if you have a late train.
I was there coincidentally during Oktoberfest, so the price was not very low, but even so, I believe it's worth it - I've paid more for hotels that offered lower quality.
I would come back any time - hope I don't forget the place.

Clean, quiet, and comfortable.

Clean and spacious room, I was worried about the unmanned nature of the hotel, but everything went smoothly. It's in a good location, close to a subway station and a short ride from the centre of Munich. The hotel is remarkably quiet, which is a huge positive when you want to rest.
The only negative I have is the shower, which was quite weak and suffered from temperature fluctuations. Overall, it's a decent place to stay while you're in Munich!
