A super team - the owners lead by example!

A great hotel with modern, well-equipped rooms, which are also nice and quiet if located facing the garden. The service is impressive - the almost permanent presence of the owners and their warm, professional manner radiates to the entire team. It hardly gets any better. Great garden as well as spa area and minigolf and tennis on the premises.
Culinary-wise, we recommend the a la carte restaurant - all dishes with lots of flavor and excellent cooking times. The super wine list is astonishing, partly very modestly priced. And a great team there, too. We (as admittedly spoiled Michelin-star diners) were rather disappointed by the Michelin-star restaurant. Doesn't matter - the a la carte restaurant was a lot of fun. Thanks to the team!

Luxury in the Sauerland

My husband and I spent three days here for his birthday and had the pleasure of staying in one of the new suites.
These offer all the comfort and luxury one expects in such a house, both in terms of layout and amenities!
The entire hotel complex is impressively well-maintained and clean. Particularly noteworthy is the beautiful outdoor area, which truly invites relaxation.
Both breakfast and dinner were really great every time. The selection and variety of dishes leave nothing to be desired, and even if there are requests, they are wonderfully accommodated within the possibilities.
The service was unobtrusively quick and professional, whether at the reception or in the restaurant, with genuine warmth. A small extra request for my husband's birthday was perfectly fulfilled.

A Foodie's Paradise within a 5 Star Luxury Wellness Hotel

A Foodie's Paradise and 5-Star Luxury at its Best!
I said to my wife, Sabine, "So what if it’s a top 5-star Wellness Hotel in Germany? If the publicised check-in time is 3:00 PM, we shouldn’t just rock up at 1:30 PM."
Well, I was wrong.
The reception staff were incredibly welcoming, without even a hint of a reminder about the official check-in time. In less than 10 minutes, our car was parked for us, we were enjoying a welcoming glass of Sekt, and our luggage had already appeared in our room. We even had time to play a round of Adventure Mini-Golf—which Sabine won!
This hotel is a true foodie's paradise.
Breakfast has absolutely everything you need to start the day: made-to-order omelets and egg dishes, a buffet spread to satisfy all tastes, more bread varieties than I have ever seen, and to top it off, a hands-free automatic fresh orange juice machine! Dinner was a spectacular five-course affair—pleasing to the eye and absolutely delicious.
A wonderful bonus was the "Happy Birthday" cake presented right at our table.
Two restaurant staff members who were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and treated us as true guests rather than just customers, were Lena Dettler and Hubert Hermes. We highly recommend asking to dine at a table served by Lena and/or Hubert; both are exceptionally well-trained in the warm hospitality that defines Deimann.
The highlights of our stay included:
The Food: An exquisite culinary experience (and a very healthy weight-gain achievement!).
Room 326: Complete with a balcony, table, and comfortable chairs overlooking the beautiful resort.
The Activities: A fantastic variety of sports available, including our daily swims in the stunning infinity pool.
After three days, the publicised check-out time was 11:00 AM. But true to form, we didn't wait until the last minute. Having arrived 90 minutes early for check-in, we checked out at 9:30 AM! Why? So we could spend our final hour feasting for the third time on that ultimate breakfast right up until 11:00.
We thoroughly recommend this luxury hotel. We will definitely be back!

A big disappointment

We had high hopes for this 5-star superior hotel, but unfortunately our stay was a huge disappointment.
For a price of over €600 for one night, you expect luxury, comfort and an excellent experience. In reality, we got a very outdated room without air conditioning, while it was very hot outside. Sleep was therefore hardly possible. The room looked dated and the carpeting was full of visible stains. The general maintenance of the hotel also left much to be desired.
The interior of the hotel felt more like an outdated retirement home than a modern luxury hotel. The appearance was faded glory and was totally disproportionate to the 5-star superior rating.
The food was also disappointing. The quality and taste were very mediocre and absolutely did not match the level and price this hotel demands.
We book a luxury hotel because we want to experience more comfort on holiday than at home. Unfortunately, that was not the case here at all. The price-quality ratio is far from being found in our opinion. For over €600 per night we expected a much higher standard.
We will not be coming back here and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel, given our experience.
