Luxury Prices, 4-Star Experience
To begin with, we arrived around 7 PM and there is only a staircase at the entrance with no ramp for wheeled luggage, which is surprising for a hotel in this price category. The only receptionist on duty did not offer water, a welcome drink, or really any kind of arrival hospitality, despite the room costing over €700 per night.
The corridors are extremely narrow, and the room itself felt dark and cramped despite being on the top floor. The layout is very impractical, with a lot of space wasted by poor planning, creating an overall feeling of tightness rather than comfort. There was also no welcome note, no fruit, no small touches you would normally expect from a luxury hotel.
The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows felt cheap and synthetic. We slept poorly because of street noise throughout the night, and to make matters worse, there was a bright illuminated EXIT sign directly above the bed that noticeably lit up the room. After two nights, we genuinely felt unrested.
Bathroom amenities were also rather limited and underwhelming for this level of hotel. There is also no gym, which feels like a major omission for a hotel positioning itself as a 5-star property in this price range.
Housekeeping was not impressive either: there was still dust and debris on the floor, which gave the impression that the rooms are not even properly vacuumed.
To give credit where it’s due, the rooftop breakfast was good and the view was beautiful.
Overall, this felt like an overpriced 4-star hotel rather than a true 5-star experience. Luxury today increasingly seems to mean “minimalist lighting and beige interiors” while quietly removing comfort, service, and basic attention to guests.

We are sorry that your stay did not fully meet your expectations, particularly in terms of overall value. Your perspective is important to us, and we will continue to focus on enhancing both our offerings and the overall experience we provide. We sincerely apologize for the lack of a worm welcome during check-in which is not usual in our Hotel. We also regret the discomfort you experienced at the room and the properly vaccum. This is certainly not acceptable. We will convey your message appropriately, as we are committed to enhancing our services on all levels.
That said, we truly appreciate your kind comments about our team, and we are pleased they made a positive impact during your visit. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again and provide a more fulfilling experience.
Kind Regards,
Panagiotis Mertekis

Receptionist was too busy on their phones to even notice me.
The food is the restaurant was expensive and pretty bad and the woman at breakfast would not smile nor look me in the eyes when talking to me.
The water in the spa was cold and the steam room was smelling and cold as well.
