The perfect place for a relaxing Greek holiday
Our 4th time here in 10 years. Ilidi Rock is our favorite place for a relaxing Greek holiday away from the tourist masses and noise. Good swimming right below on a private beach, no traffic except the ferries, spacious apartments with great views and good private terrace, good home cooked lunches at the snack bar, friendly service and a family owned establishment.
We have our favourite apartments and every time get one of them. With a little kitchen and nearby supermarkets it is possible to self cater or find a local tavern or restaurant. The snack bar has a choice of lunches every day and it is easy to get into a comfortable routine here.
The swimming in front of the hotel is great. The shore is rocky, but there are many places to get into the water. We enjoy exploring the shore with goggles and the sea is usually easy going.
Tilos offers a great array of walks, an easy bus service to different parts of the island, and one really feels like an escape to a friendly Greek island without the downside of mass tourism. One needs to check the different ferries to get here, but it is a blessing to be on an island without an airport. Tilos makes it possible to support ecotourism and local economy.

A wonderful holiday
Had a wonderful holiday in Tilos.
The island is idyllic - truly Greek - the islanders are lovely.
The hotel is built into the hillside over looking the harbour - the views are spectacular. Lots of steps but worth the climb , great rooms and the staff made our stay very special.A holiday to remember.

Super place to stay in Livadia
Another super stay in this lovely hotel. Maria and the team are super helpful and friendly . The hotel has direct access to the sea and the views are amazing . Marinas lunch specials in the snack bar are delicious and change every day . It is located a 5 min walk from the ferry and town .

Paradise
This is an extremely good hotel. The service was excellent from arrival to departure. Collection upon arrival at the port by Maria was much appreciated. Views from room stunning. Beach lovely. Close to the village. What more can I say?

Worth its price, apart from the stairs.
The pictures don't lie. It really is as beautiful as the pictures show. We stayed almost at the top of room 117 and many stairs are. If you go up there from the beach there are many over 100 steps and these were not fun in the 30-degree heat. But once in the room, you had immediately forgotten all these "devil stairs". The view from room 117 was totally eye-catching.
The rooms were quite outdated, but then it was self-catering too and everything was in the kitchen. The rooms have AC which is way too expensive. They took 10Є / night and this is insane when we lay there for 2 weeks. 10X14=140Є in SEK 1626 . So we spent the first week with only the ceiling fan and it worked pretty well. Then the heat became unbearable, so we had to get the remote control the last 6 days. The beds were slightly higher than standard and this made us have a magical view from our bed and the beds were very comfortable.
The hotel offers free breakfast and a bar and lunch area. Lunch was good, but unnecessarily expensive I think. The staff were probably a bit tired and forgot parts of our orders several times.
The beach offers free sun loungers to hotel guests and the public had to rent if space is available.Towels offer the hotel which they wish to change every 4 days. Reception also offers WATER for 6Є and this price is for 6X1.5L. So don’t do what I do and buy downtown and bring this water up all steps, you will be pretty tired then.
At night there was sometimes a heavy sewage smell and this we often wondered what it was. Unfortunately, we did not ask what it was. Most unpleasant!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
