Nice hillside place to stay above the town

Great place up the hill from the main strip of restaurants but an easy walk. We had a garden level room at the pool, which was nice and clean. Sunsets outside by the pool were beautiful. Restaurant/bar area had good basic menu (much better food options in town) and was great to sit and relax after a day of walking and have a bite to eat and a drink. We visited in early October so pool was a little chilly for me, but not for everyone. Walking down the hill to lots of restaurant options and cute area with narrow cobblestone paths with lots of stores to explore. Would recommend going to Naoussa to explore for an afternoon, easy to get a taxi, although bus is much cheaper.

Following an accident, the hotel offered us to postpone our stay to 2026, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the suite was a real obstacle course.
Despite numerous attempts to contact between October and May (emails and calls), we received no response for months. The two times we managed to reach Marilena by phone, a proposal was promised to us… but it was never sent on time.
When the proposal finally arrived on May 25, it was too late: almost everything was booked. We proposed reasonable alternatives, without any additional cost compared to our initial reservation — refusal or silence. Result: we lose €800 and have no stay.
One can understand unforeseen circumstances, but leaving customers without a response for weeks, promising things that are not fulfilled, and ultimately having nothing available… this is a strategy of avoidance, not customer service.
We hope that this testimony will help other travelers make informed choices.

Beautiful facility, breakfast lacking!

The facility is very nice and well-located. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. The quality of the breakfast is far below expectations. Dirty cutlery, chipped cups, etc. The fruits were anything but fresh - and the fried eggs were just thrown on a pile. Absolutely incomprehensible for such a hotel.

Horrible communication and no costumer service

I am really concerned about this hotel as I booked for August. The hotel has not responded to my inquiries since March. I have been reaching out daily. Is this a legitimate hotel that is in operation? I am concerned as they have already charged me.

Wonderful hotel

This is a beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and wonderful service. The pool area was lovely and great cocktails and food from the bar. Breakfast was good (sometimes eggs were cold though). Reception team couldn't do enough for us- organised our car hire and taxi- both very easy. The only down side to this place is the location- it is a little out of Parikia and up a very steep hill (clues in its name!) so unless you're prepared to pay for expensive taxis to and from the port be prepared to walk. However the sunsets were fantastic!
