Amazing Experience

First time staying at a Hostel and had a good time. I had the whole room to myself through my 2 nights stay and it was very quiet and comfortable. The service were great and most of them speak English very well. Free bike hire is the highlight of my stay at Hostel Jin as I was able to ride around the city and was able to see and experience Osaka in Cities and backstreets. It was very fun!

Don’t be fooled by the high review! 免費早餐騙人的，不要相信高評價

我8月中訂房，條款包含免費早餐；9月底該旅館傳訊息給我，說因為10月起日本消費稅要從8%漲到10%，所以在他們lounge點咖啡才附免費早餐。我認為很不合理，打電話給Hotels.com客服反應，客服向旅館詢問，得到回覆是我會有免費早餐。但隔天該旅館又傳訊息給我，以為是我打電話過去的，又再說明一次因為消費稅...(中略)所以要點咖啡才有早餐；我又打電話給Hotels.com客服，客服向旅館確認得到"消費稅...(中略)所以要點咖啡才有早餐"。最終討論結果是Hotels.com願意還我咖啡的價格。
1. 我當初訂房條款就是含免費早餐，旅館還如此強硬，由他們說的算?
2. 日本消費稅要漲，是年初就知道的事；可見他們只是找理由想要省成本
3. 所謂的早餐，也只是三種麵包、玉米片和牛奶。根本沒多少成本
住宿本身也沒多舒服
1. 房間通道很窄
2. 房間門用很吵的機械鎖，好死不死我的床位是門旁邊，嚴重影響
3. 廁所不知道多久才清一次，我住三天，其中兩天去，馬桶有屎殘留
4. 整個Hostel只有在外面公用空間放6個置物櫃，大小還不行放入登機箱
I booked a berth in mid August with FREE breakfast. In late September, the hostel told me that  due to Japanese consumption tax will be raised from October 1st, I will be able to get Free breakfast only if I order a cup of coffee.
I called Hotels.com for help. They called the hostel, telling me that I will have free breakfast. But next day, the hostel messaged me for the same issue. At last, Hotels.com payed for the coffee.
1. It seems the hostel can change the terms all up to them selves any time
2. It's known early that Japan's consumption tax will go up. Obviously, they just want some reasons to save costs
3. The so-called "breakfast" is just three kinds of bread, cornflakes and milk
This stay is not comfortable:
1. The space is really narrow in the room
2. The mechanical lock of the door was so noisy
3. I stayed for 3 nights, and there was residues in the toilet 2 times I went there
4. Only 6 locker for the whole hostel, and the size was not large enough even for carry-on suitcases

spacious room and excellent location

My most favourite choice of stay when I visit Osaka. Their rooms are spacious and almost like a mini studio which include dry kitchen, bathroom, toilet, dining table, and a balcony! The location is great too as it is only 3 minutes walk from jr nishikujo station. Apart from direct access from Airport and Universal Studio, the same station connects to Kobe and Nara via Hanshin lines too.

Wonderful stay and super close to station

We enjoyed our stay here very much! It's located very close to the station (osaka loopline) so very easy to head into town (especially good for those with a railway pass).
Wonderful restaurants in the area (we had great ramen, okonomiyaki and teriyaki there!).
They have tips on where to go for dinner and sights to see. In the morning you can enjoy a simple, but nice breakfast (cereal, toast) if you order a coffee.

Very Clean Hostel

Hostel Jin is very clean and has excellent location. 2 minute walk to the station going around Osaka and going to the airport. The staff are all very friendly. Stayed here for 6 nights with my husband and we had a wonderful vacation. Would stay here again on our next visit. :)
