Amazing hospitality, outstanding meals, and historic charm

What a memorable experience at Utne Hotel. Bjorn is an amazing hotel manager and chef, bringing hospitality to the next level through his love for the Hardanger area. It shines in all the hotel offers, down to the exquisite food (one of the best dinners we have ever had), the partnership with many local cideries, including the amazing Kvestad Sideri, who gave us an impromptu private tour upon Bjorn’s suggestion, and the historic furnishings and storytelling. This is a remarkable place, setting, and experience you will never forget. Don’t hesitate to spend time here.

Cool.

So great atmosphere. Nice old building and beautiful space to the Fjorden.
The queen room was an experience.

This was a unique and beautiful hotel with a rich history. It was a pleasure to stay there! We enjoyed drinks on the porch overlooking the water, and Utne was a sweet town to explore. Lovely!

Super experience

Arrived in Utne after a long hike. Great hotel and nice service. Eat 5 dishes for dinner and can really recommend sides menu to follow the food instead of regular wine menu.
Clean and cool room despite a very hot day.

Fantastic

The rooms are not special. But the beautiful location on the Hardanger fjord, the authentic atmosphere of the hotel, the delicious dinner and the beautiful stories of the manager Bjorn make the stay a more than fantastic experience!
