Ataraxia

First, there's the bidet faucet. The garden is beautifully landscaped, a lovely garden with trees, a quiet and peaceful place. Right on the seafront. You descend to the beach via a staircase. A sea that deepens quickly. I would recommend a pair of stony beach shoes. Safe for children. 5 km from Alexandroupoli. You have everything you need at home; you can brew Turkish tea, we have tea and a teapot. They have good quality espresso. There's a toaster and a countertop refrigerator. We have an electric stove for cooking things. Although it's mostly eaten outside. There's a standard bed for the third person. There is a parking lot.
If there's no wind, there are a lot of flies. This is the case throughout Greece. Keep insect repellent on hand. The toilet was located in a cramped space.

Beautiful place with very helpful hosts

We had a fantastic time here and wish we had stayed longer. We had a sea view room in the forest. The rooms and balconies are spacious. The restaurant is higher up in the forest with excellent views and food is very good ($25 dollars pp for two courses plus wine). The hosts are happy to show guests the wildlife and advise about tours and trails. We had an incident with a boat (nothing to do with the property) and they were extremely helpful).

Beautiful suite and friendly staff.
The walk to town was difficult and not well maintained- I would not want to do it after dark. The food was good but very pricey ($25 USD for dinner of pasta with no veg or protein even for a child who received a smaller portion and of course no wine!) and disappointed there were no local food options. Otherwise very happy with the stay and the staff!

What a wonderful stay! The room was super clean and the area was beautiful. We had an interesting night walk where we learnt so much. The hosts were super kind and accommodating. Wish I was still there!

Pleasant "jungle" stay

We stayed in one of the seaview rooms, which is spacious and lovely, and also has great views of trees and birds. Hosts are excellent. There are many steps to the rooms, but staff took heavy bags. I recommend having dinner onsite at $25 per person: good food and easy. Pierre led a walk through the rain forest one night to see caiman and frogs. We spent more time in the hammock and chairs on our deck than I would have thoughts possible, but it was just a beautiful spot.
