AMAZING hostel with such fantastic staff

AMAZING hostel! Staff are absolutely fantastic, the whole place is so well set up, clean and safe. We stayed for 9 days with family and then friends and between us, we’ve stayed in very many hostels and this would definitely be up in the top 3….quiet and only a few minutes walk from the main area, can book tours etc directly from the hostel and they’ve a decent food menu for when you’re just too relaxed to venture out in the warm mornings. Our rooms were kept spotless and nothing is too much trouble for the people working here- such a lovely stay

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!!!

We spent a week at Maayong Hostel and everything was perfect! Marine and Ayong the owners have been in great care throughout our stay. The staff is very friendly and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and are spotlessly clean. The place is a haven of peace that we no longer want to leave. In addition, the hostel is perfectly located to visit the surroundings. Thank you again for this unforgettable stay. We will come back, that’s for sure.

Peaceful and chill kind of weekend at Maayong Hostel, Moalboal

Maayong Hostel offers a relaxing stay, especially for couples wanting to experience Moalboal without spending a lot. The place has nice and clean air-conditioned huts and a well lit bar with strong WIFI. You can work or check emails while enjoying some of their dishes and drinks.
The owners were also responsive and accommodating. They arranged some towel art and flowers on our bed and surprised us with a romantic room setup upon our arrival. They sure know how to welcome their guests who are celebrating a very special occasion! ❤️
We wanted to experience the famous sardine run and the hostel staff recommended Kuya Jimmy as our Freedive instructor. He's one of the best guides in the area. Drop him a message if interested +63 909 624 9413
Overall, I recommend Maayong Hostel if you wish to have a peaceful, chill vibe kind of weekend; away from the beats of the nearby karaoke bars and sound of people partying.

Very good stay

15 day stay in Moalboal, we stayed at Maayong hostel in one of the small bungalows with a superb semi-open bathroom. The staff is super nice, Marine and Aayong very good in their roles as hosts, very friendly and helpful!
We recommend that you try the Maayong omelette which is killer! ;)

Nice hut but very basic & many mosquitoes

Location was good, the hut was nice to look at however small for 2 people with little to no storage & the outside bathroom was different, we shared our bathroom with a huge lizard! Chilled vibe in communal area, staff really helpful & kind, board games and hammock were an added bonus! Don’t choose if you don’t like bugs/critters, I was eaten alive by the mosquitoes.
