Pleasant stay with wonderful staff

Location, location, location! Wow! Best spot to visit Girona, so close to the old town. Good local parking at a cheaper price and the staff were so friendly and kind. The room was nice, facilities ok. Good value for a central location.

Blood on Bathroom

Blood stains in bathroom + forced to wait until 7pm – No refund"Hotel website says check-in at 2pm. We arrived at 2:30pm but were not allowed into the room until 7pm (over 4 hours later). When we finally entered, the triple room was dirty with visible blood stains in the bathroom. Photos attached.They only offered a double room instead of fixing the problem, so we left immediately. Now they refuse to refund us. Terrible hygiene, poor organization, and bad customer service. Do not recommend this hotel at all."

Top Location

perfectly located hotel in the centre of griona, i've marked down from giving the full five marks, as i) the lift was out of order on a couple of occasions and ii) the rooms probably need a little freshening up. but, otherwise, everything was good; especially the staff on reception.
i'd highly recommend girona as a short stay city break.

Booked parking is not guaranteed

The hotel location is fantastic, right in the middle of everything. The bed is incredibly comfortable and despite being on a busy street we heard no noise with the windows closed.
However, the downsides, the room was very tired and in desperate need of a refresh.
The real issue was parking, we chose this hotel because it had parking, we pre-booked our space but were told on arrival parking was full and we would have to sort our own parking, my husband did find somewhere eventually, more expensive than the spot we booked.
While my husband was walking from quite far away the receptionist said a space had become available. It was too late at that stage.
This is not acceptable and no excuses that were made by the hotel were acceptable. If you promise a parking space you need to deliver it.

Staff were amazing, helpful and always smiling. The breakfast was very good, nice variety and specialty coffees.
The rooms are a bit shabby, with the floor tiles broken in spots and very minimal amenities. The location is very quiet and double windows to block out sound. The air conditioning was not good, very weak and doesn’t get very cool. Not a problem for us in April but by summer it would be very uncomfortable. Ike storage in the basement was fantastic, able to clean and lock the bikes overnight was a real advantage.
