Excellent choice

It was a good idea to stay at this hotel. It has everything you need for a pleasant stay.
Comfortable hotel, good shower, perfect for Camino De Santiago pilgrims, very friendly staff and very good breakfast. We definitely recommend it

Bed bug and terrible owner - a nightmare, stay away

warning - bed bug infestation and terrible owner
i have 30+ bites and still suffering from damages. owner was awful and did not offer to help with laundry, language interpretation or even help me get to a laundromat. they are a big hotel - im certain they have laundry services but denied to do them for me
he treated me like i was the problem, purposely ignored me the following day, and was awfully rude when i requested for a refund. almost all my gear was destroyed at the laundromat and he had the audacity to tell me go to a store to buy new stuff
yes, you can get bed bugs anywhere but a careful and helpful host would help you which is essential to prevent further infestation and manage your panic. this business does NOT care and will NOT help you which absolutely makes the matter worse when you are already stressed. trust me you do not want to deal with this, i havent slept well for weeks and am anxious about having spread them despite doing everything in my power to prevent it without any help from this hotel.
I dont usually put a business down even when its bad but honestly stay ANYWHERE ELSE even if it costs double, or move onto a different town.

Perfectly Fine

Located a little up the hill but right in the town. The hotel gets the job done but with nothing that I would say was special. Good place to rest for the night.

To repeat and recommend

We stayed to begin the last km of the Portuguese Way along the coast and we were very PLEASANTLY surprised. I really think it will be difficult to find another room as nice at that price. Central, clean, bright and with breakfast for 50 euros!!

A shame

My family and I (there are 5 of us) had two nights reserved at the hotel, we only booked one and because we had no choice. The room they gave us felt like it had been closed for years, the dirt it had was not normal, dust stuck to the furniture (from having been there for a long time), curtains and bed covers very dirty with dust. The family room had a small kitchen with utensils, we took out a saucepan to heat the water for our baby's bottle and it was like there was food leftovers or mold on it... You couldn't put anything on the nightstands because it would get stuck to you from society . It is a shame that they put anyone in a room in those conditions, especially a family with three children. Our baby spent the night coughing from the dust. You ate it! The only thing we found moderately clean was the bathroom. And to say something that was good, the breakfast.

Very good location
