Perfect rural getaway

We stayed for 3 nights and really enjoyed the scenic peacefulness of the place.
The small pool, lawn for football, table tennis, and farm animals kept our kids entertained.
Breakfast is really nice with local and homemade produce - we really liked Albas lemon jam. Dinner is true to the concept and is basic, but well made.
Mas Duran is a good base for trips to Figueres and Besalu. Make sure to also visit the Gala Dalí castle in Pubol, just a km away.
Pedro and Alba are super hosts and if you visit Catalonia and want a less touristy experience you should definitely consider staying at Mas Duran

A wonderful experience, exquisite treatment

We stayed for a weekend and it was a wonderful experience, both for the personal treatment and for the facilities of the farmhouse. Very quiet setting, spacious facilities and rooms, excellent cleanliness, and very full breakfast. We recommend it for both couples and groups.

Superb quiet place

The magnificent setting, very beautiful building, Alba and Pedro are welcoming, warm and friendly, they give good advice for walking around the farmhouse, the charming little village of La Pera is a 10-minute walk through the fields, breakfast is delicious, plentiful and very good with homemade products, spacious room

quiet place and family friendly

we come to one friends "calçotada" party and the place is antique and marvellous. the building is from XVII century!. the staff is very lovely and all the kids enjoy playing around everywhere. we loved the bridge and there are some animals too.

Great place

We happened on mas Duran after a long day of driving and full hotels due to French holiday.
We booked on.line.We had a lovely room w bath and a door between the two room suite for privacy. Only problem is you need to keep it cracked for privacy.
Shower was hot,bed comfy,great restaurants recommend by staff.short walk into to town. Gala Dalis home just down street. Breakfast awesome& fresh.Nice little dip pool. Glad I could give a good review as owner seems to have changed since last one. Loved it!
