The Hostal is located in a position that allows easy access to all the various areas , and attractions. We liked it, although a little puzzled about the use of the shower as it does not have a curtain, /glass, but only a narrow wall. With a little more care, we avoided splashing the water out. This would be to improve.Obviously no bidet. Our two windows gave into a skylight, sufficiently lit. Friendly and helpful staff. Every day cleaning , if requested , Then there 'the change of linen. If you do not have claims to greatness I would say that' an Accommodation to consider. The very affordable cost, at least last week. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for a great price!

Location! Location! Location! The location was just perfect, within walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go, especially the gay zone at night. The room was on the small side for sure, but you can't be the price for such a prime location. Everything was clean, and the staff very nice.

Not recommended

Let me say first off that I’ve tried several hotels and hostals in Madrid while looking for an apartment. This is the worst I’ve seen. for the money and for even less, you can definitely find better hostals in Madrid. The room I was assigned smelled like a mixture of tobacco and mold, definitely not as nice as the pictured led to believe. The shower head kept falling from its holder and water flooded the bathroom floor. Skip this place, there are plenty that are better.

Basic but central location

We stayed for 4 nights. Rooms are basic but clean, equipped also with mini fridge so possible to bring some small breakfast supplies (no breakfast included in price). Location just few minute walk from Sol / Callao / Gran Via metro station - it's as center as you can get! Staff was very friendly and helpful at all times, we were surprised of their hospitality! After cleaning seems that they didn't lock the room doors, so I wouldn't leave any valuables to the room.. but otherwise security was good, since they checked who ringed intercom before letting anyone in.

Highly recommended

We arrived at 2am and there was a person expecting us. We were given room 4. Spacious, overlooking the street. 80 metres from Gran Via, Primemark and all the main brands. 500 metres from Plaza Mayor. 150 from Corte Inglés supermarket and shopping mall. The room has everything they say. Clean, neat, no noise is heard. There is no breakfast but there is a dispenser in the corridor to provide hot and cold water. So if you take your mugs, you can have breakfast in the room. Ths staff is very helpful. I would only change the fragance of the toiletries which could be better, some citric-floral flavour. The rest is very good!!
