Good hotel
This is the fourth time I visited this hotel, I stayed from 10 to 14 September 2025 on a full board basis. Room 2121 with sea view.
I decided to return once again to this hotel for the quality of the buffet, evening performances, facilities and humane treatment.
This year as a novelty we have found the renovation of the pool bar and a children's area with slides.
The rooms are spacious with double bed, although the mattress needs a replacement. The bathroom has a large bathtub. Plus a terrace with table and chairs. The air conditioning and refrigerator do not cool enough.
There are three adult pools plus a splash area with slides for children. Plus a cold water hot tub.
It would be advisable to clean the hammocks more frequently as the tarpaulin was in some cases very dirty, loose or even split the structure.
On the weekend with the influx of so many children it is more difficult to relax in the jacuzzi and the next pool, it is a constant of children throwing pumps almost on top of people, splashing. Even some family playing with balls and giving to people who were bathing. I believe that inflatable elements in the water should be banned as well as children should be more controlled.
As a suggestion a couple of slides for adults would be ideal.
The performances of this hotel on the night are good, The Wizard Pedro Lucas (a 10), Disney show and several artists singing. If it is true that they should vary the show since we repeat guests know the performance of previous years.
The dining room and the food met my expectations, I recommend the paellas and the milleajas for dessert. At breakfast I missed cream sweets that were not there.
At the weekend the dining room is small, an expansion is already needed, it becomes difficult to move around the exhibitors with so many people plus the food carts of the workers.
Every day they try to vary the food and it is not repetitive. What you should do is expand the showcooking area and improve the quality of the sausage, sausages, morel and pizza dough, I saw it of low quality. Otherwise perfect.
Some dishes of the dining room: paella vegetables, meat or fish, meatballs, croquettes vegetable fajitas, saladitos, skewers, crumbs, prawns, clams, bowl in marinade, pastas, pizzas, gypsy arm, milfolias, profiteroles, crepes, varied pastries and a different meat and fish at each meal, etc.
Homemade and very delicious food.
When booking online we were given a drink, spa and a bag. The detail is appreciated.
The spa is small but to relax for a while it meets expectations.
There was plenty of parking in the area.
Highlight the friendliness of the staff and their good work always to make you feel at home. I'll be back.

Wonderful hotel
Wonderful hotel, facilities, workers, entertainers and a delicious food, 100% recommended, of course we will return.

Average stay
Stayed for a week at the Marina Mar and whilst it was a pleasant enough stay I wouldn’t rate the hotel a 4 star.
Rooms cleaned every day, fabulous powerful shower.
My room overlooked the main pool (3008).
Quite large balcony areas.
Plenty of sunbeds all around the main pool areas, no issues getting an available bed.
Do take your own towels though as they are not provided.
Some beds looked rather grubby.
Food wise - well, not sure what to say.
Awful time slot system, slot 1 or 2 for dinner and lunch.
Slot 1 was 8.30-9.30
Slot 2 was 9.30-10.30 for dinners.
Such a very small window to accommodate an entire hotel of people.
I had 2 nights where I was part of a 60-70 strong queue of people waiting to go in.
It was like a free for all cattle market.
Horrible experience.
Breakfast wasn’t so bad.
Food quality was not too great, mainly at the dinner service.
I do have to say though that every dish was either lukewarm or cold.
Not a single hot dish all week.
You do pay extra for your drinks.
Friendly enough staff throughout the hotel.
I will point out I did only pay £700 for the whole package holiday so I guess you may say you get what you pay for.
If you want a cheap and cheerful break then this may be the hotel for you but personally I wouldn’t return.
A 3 star experience I guess.
