The current nearest petrol station to Barcelona Airport is a BP petrol station located approximately one hour from the airport near Charavelle. When exiting the airport, take the Autopista Caracas-La Guaira and continue on this road until you come to an exit called Av. Perimetral. The petrol station is on the right of the roundabout.

Follow this for approximately 33 minutes before following the Avenida Río de Janeiro into Caracas. The journey time should be no more than an hour and five minutes. Parking in Caracas can be stressful simply due to there being so many cars on the roads. However, many hotels in Caracus offer free off street parking which is easier than trying to find an on-street space. Charges and time limits vary for on-street parking so if you do find a space, be sure to read the nearby signs to ensure you don’t incur a fine.
Choroni, in Aragua, is a popular beach destination in Venezuela and it is no wonder. This beautiful white horseshoe of sand, lapped by dazzling clear sea is one of the finest in the country. From Barcelona Airport, the drive to Choroni takes just over 3 hours but it is well worth it for this slice of real Venezuelan life. Simply take the Autopista Caracas - La Guaira for an hour and a half, exit on the Autopista Regional del Centro and follow this to Choroni.
