The nearest petrol station to Curacao Airport is 24 minutes by car. Head southeast on Franklin D Roosevelt road taking a left onto Winston Churchill Road. Turn left onto Snipweg and then right. The Curoil petrol station will be on the right hand side.
Driving around Curacao Airport
Curacao Airport is located just 310 minutes from the city centre of Curacao. Road signage is limited and is in Dutch while driving is on the right hand side of the road. It is best to bring a map and plan your route before you travel.

Willemstad is a little touch of Amsterdam in the Caribbean. The UNESCO protected old town is a meandering maze of narrow winding streets filled with picturesque red tiled houses. It takes just 22 minutes to reach Willemstad from Curacao Airport. Drive along Franklin D Rooseveltweg, taking a left onto Winston Churchillweg then left onto Schottegatweg Noord. Take a right and follow signs for the city centre.
This huge national park is an exceptional place to see all manner of strange and wonderful flora and fauna. Local birds and plants will impress wildlife enthusiasts while the opportunity for hiking and walking is second to none with eight hiking trails available. An early morning walk along the sea swept cliffs should guarantee a spectacular sunrise. Other fun activities include deer watching, cave exploration and full moon walks.
The drive from Curacao Airport to Christoffel National Park is just 30 minutes. From the airport, get on to Weg naar Hato, taking the first exit at the roundabout onto Weg naar Westpunt. Continue on this road until you reach the park.

In Downtown Willemstad all parking spaces have parking meters, and cost approximately $0.15 cents per 15 minutes. After 6pm parking is free. The Waaigat parking area in downtown provides free parking 24 hours a day. Many hotels in Curacao also offer free parking.
