Airports in Exeter

Exeter International Airport (EXT) is used for both domestic and international flights from the UK. It's 9km from the city centre, and it usually takes around 20 minutes to reach the centre by car. How to get to Exeter from the airport

It's easy to catch a taxi from outside of Exeter Airport, which should set you back around £10 to £20. Alternatively, you can catch the 56A bus form outside of the airport. When to go to Exeter

Summer is high season in Exeter and Devon, so you might be battling crowds if you head during June and July, especially when the schools break up. Chagstock takes place in July, an outdoor summer music festival, and the Tiverton Balloon Festival usually follows. The Christmas Markets make the city look magical in December, especially with the Cathedral in the background.
