Dog owners without respect for guests

Nice, but people walk with their dogs and let them do their business without cleaning after them, so paths at the campsite are awful.

So charming

Delicious food, wonderful service. We loved it much here we went twice. The staff are so lovely and attentive. The food is absolutely gorgeous. Lovely setting right by the beach as well. We had chicken, Greek salad, okra, imam followed by profiteroles and baklava.

Immaculate and clean

Everything was soooooo clean. It had the potential for washing machines, dishwashers, personal showers and toilets. There were small houses with plugs in many places in the camping area so that one could have power supply even in his tent. There was quiet and respect for everyone's privacy. We mostly met families and some couples or groups of students. There was a mini market equipped with all the essentials and a restaurant-cafe with good prices and quality options. Communication with the owners was flawless, one of the most hospitable people we have met. We thank them and will definitely come again.

Great local food on the beach

We stopped at Mithimna Tavern upon our arrival as we needed to wait a bit to get our rooms in a nearby villa. Not promising too much at the first glance it turns out the staff is super nice, the local food they serve is great (probably the best mussaka I had) and the atmosphere is exactly what a tourist-trap weary tourist is looking for. We went back a couple of times during our stay - always great. Iwould deffinitely recommend it.

That is not camping

It is heaven. We stayed there after our visit to Balos, and end up staying for 3days. The tent we rented was fully equipment and the atmosphere exotic. The restaurant was amazing and the best we visited during our stay on Crete. See you in August, Eldmond and Caroline ❤️
