Nice stay with friends

I stayed there with my overseas friends for a day and it was nice.My friends from Srilanka stayed more days and we all enjoyed the stay.A good place for shopping and the service was good. Staff was really kind and the place was neat and clean.All enjoyed the stay.

Budget accommodation near shopping area

Staff at the counter are polite. It is normal in India to boast and say things like breakfast is available at 7am but in reality, they only deliver it after 8.30am; this is because additional staff only check in for work after 8.30am. Breakfast for them is food only, no drinks included - this are their house rules. They buy breakfast from outside and deliver it to your room. Breakfast might be puri or thosai - the supervisor will take your order and the person who purchases it will buy something else.
Rooms are clean and aircond is very cold since Chennai is a hot city. Just ensure that pipes are working, mat is on the floor, soap is provided etc. You need to ask if they forget and they will take sometime to deliver.
Location is good as it is walking distance from the shopping area and there's a mini market across the property to get your daily essentials. Coffee and food shops are walking distance. Wine shop within 200 metres.
No roaches during my stay from 7 August to 10 August 2019.

Worst place ever

We always stayed in this guest house whenever we came to chennai.But this time we came we had a really bad experience.At first we got rooms with sheets all dirty then the bathroom was flooding and then we shifted to another room and the closet flap was broken there.But still we didnt complain cos we have been a frequent custumer.As chennai is going through a drought there was water shortage and hence there wasnt water in the hotel.We beared with all this.But the last straw was when we were to check out our arrival time reported in their log book was 10.30am which is funny cos our flight was at 10am.We had reached only at 1.30 pm.At 10 they started harassing us yelling ‘get out’ multiple times like we were some dogs.This was by the owner of the hotel one lady.We told her that her log in is wrong and we told them to check properly and after a long time they finally looked and found that their entry was wrong and it was 1.30 pm only.And they didnt even apologise for their mistake just said ‘okay okay okay’ and shoooed us away.The worst experience we had from all the hotels we have stayed.Such a disgrace to the hospitality industry.

Worth Money

A quite comfortable stay, well-maintained cleanliness, staffs were providing good service and were friendly, located prime to the area center, shopping areas were to the reach, the room was in a nice corner surrounded with a sweet fragrance. In short, a happy stay in terms of money and living.
